Obsidian are goddamn incredible. I now have to buy the next Xbox solely because it will be the only place to play their games (I don’t own a gaming computer).

anyway I think I’m almost done with far cry 5 but FUCK faiths region so fucking annoying when you see a bear but wait it’s actually a Wolverine???

i feel like i agree with you everywhere (especially the comedy thread) except the nintendo thread

 

ive spent like 500$ on games so far this year and thats not even including getting mlb the show 19 or days gone yet.

I watching a review of Anthem and it’s an honest bummer that this game isn’t so good, it has potential by what I saw of it but the game design needs so much work

 

I’m gonna be that guy and bring BioShock back up. Rapture’s dark, crumbling corridors and claustrophobic feel, combined with its superb soundtrack and the audio tapes (which I usually cannot stand, but here they’re excellent) make it stand head and shoulders above Infinite’s setting. The whole fall of the artistic elite theme is always going to be more engaging to me over anything with time travel and AI companions. For some reason, Rapture always seemed far more believable than a city in the sky. The sense of dread that the place could cave in and kill everyone at any second really stuck with me throughout. The place was stunning even in its downfall. I can’t bring myself to enjoy Infinite, despite owning the remaster trilogy.

Wow odyssey feels...weird. It has a ton in common with origins but it also feels nothing like an assassins creed game in any form, origins still felt like an AC game to me at the end of the day

 

I’m enjoying it though, I’m playing as Kassandra

 

It’ll get more AC-esque from time to time

 

I just remembered “Pandemonium!”. I want them to port it. The last port has been to iOS in 09, I think.

Seems like the media is generally lukewarm on Anthem but my friends playing it love it. Anecdotal but I don’t think this game is as doomed as some are saying

New PC is up and running. Finally I can play good PC games. Feels good man.

 

I think it’s a shame EA did what they did and that Battlefront II isn’t a more highly regarded game. It’s quite a bit of fun with a real Star Wars authenticity to it and fun new characters. But it’s forever marred by greed which may never bring a follow up.

 

I’m going to try and Olay the Arkham series since game pass so hopefully I can stick to it.
