Can I just say how excited I am for the PS5. Really hoping there's news this week or next.

Garbage. Same shit over and over. I know there's a lot of series this can be said about, but Madden was their inspiration of creating a cash cow with minimal changes each year.

Main reason I stopped playing and buying CoD. Same shit every year.

 

Other thing I'm really hoping is that the DualSense has back trigger buttons. I bought the attachments for my PS4 controller and they're literally the best thing ever.

Excited to see what they announce.

 

There will be a Horizon 2 announcement and confirmation that it is a launch game.

Could be a slight chance we see a Spider-Man 2 teaser, possibly also confirmation it will launch holiday 2021.

Other than that, who knows. All of Sony's first-party studios that I can think of are either releasing games soon (Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch) or have released games recently enough that they likely aren't ready to announce anything yet. Even the studios that have multiple teams, like Naughty Dog, probably aren't quite ready to announce anything yet. Definitely going to be some surprises in there as well as third parties.

I'd say we'd see CoD 2020 for sure but Activision usually like to announce CoD on its own first and then show it off at a platform-holder event. So idk.

 

How do you know they're going to announce Horizon Zero Dawn 2?

Loved that game. Maybe we'll get the awaited Batman Arkham announcement too. Court of Owls or whatever that's going to be.

 

Because it's going to be the PS5's marquee launch game

Yeah this is about what I’m expecting. It’s going to be games-only I think. Maybe some light information about minor features. No box and no price though.

 

I think we’ll see the box but no price. Manufacturing will be starting soon and I think they’d rather control how we see it rather than seeing a shitty leaked photo from the plant.

Horizon 2 has been rumored as a launch title for a while. Hopefully a platformer of some kind is announced.

Does Insomniac have more than one AAA team? I know they have a separate VR game team but isn't the bulk of the studio working on Spider-Man 2?

Now that Sony owns Insomniac, I don't think they'd farm R&C off to another studio.
