Like most RTS/Tactics/Etc games, the UI and shit was probably built around mouse and keyboard + I personally feel more comfy playing them that way

Wonder how easy it will be to get a hard copy of TLOU2. I still buy all my games on disc when it's possible and this is definitely not the game I want to break tradition for

 

The Last Of Us is still my favorite game ever made. The story was/is incredible and I love the gameplay (don't understand the hate for it). Not only that the multiplayer was top notch and with the inclusion of crafting and minimal supplies, games were often nerve wracking. Amazing game. Naughty Dog's track record speaks for itself and I'm hoping it's just a bunch of haters out there talking shit....but damn, seriously, how can we avoid spoilers between now and the June 19th, especially now when everyone is locked down and nothing to do BUT waste time on the internet.

 

But the last level/gameplay is impactful on the story, and definitely makes the end cutscene hit even harder.

I’ve been thinking about Marc Eckō's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure and I think someone should make another game like that. The problem is, these days a game like that would either look so good that making it is too expensive for any major publisher to risk it or it would look basically the way the original does (or worse artistically) but in high res because some b-tier indie studio made it. Or it’d be a dumb mobile game. Skateboarding games have a bigger market and even they are in that same position. The fact that Steep exists is actually pretty mind blowing.

 

I always assumed they were ripping Jet Set on some level with that.

Jet Set is really an incredible series that needs another entry.

People that wish Sega was still making consoles should give Sunset Overdrive a go, that game is definitely a Dreamcast 4 game

 

Is Battlefront II worth playing now, does anyone know? I played the first and thought it was alright, but I remember the sequel getting pretty panned in reviews for microtransactions and things.

Just realised I got EA Access at the weekend so could download it now if I wanted.

It is. They reworked all that shitty stuff and the actual gameplay is great.
