Outer Worlds

 

Had a weird dream about the PS5 last night. Had to be influenced by reading this thread near falling asleep.

Warning, this is the dumbest dream in history.

Well, the PS5 was never shown off nor were the games and the console went live to preorder the night before release. It had “guaranteed” day one delivery from Amazon but I accidentally chose a third party seller and I immediately cancelled, and somehow a receipt printed and told me to return it with the console. I was pissed because I didn’t have the console, I had just placed the order. So I was thinking I was out $500 for that order. I then order it through amazon and I get it the day after and it looks like a GameCube and there were no launch games at all, only Death Stranding enhanced version and Madden were on the store, with “Call of Duty Black Ops 10” that I bought and was transplanted into the game, where the third party seller that I bought the PS5 was in the game, and from the cartel. I turned the game off and they started coming after me in real life lol.

 

That really pisses me off.

Valve buying them destroyed two great podcasts and a potentially great game. They should have seen it coming though. Hope the money was good at least.

 

I like my game developers to make games not podcasts

 

Tbh they're podcasts were probably better

my friends and I started new Elder Scrolls Online builds last night... idk times are strange.

 

I just miss the ridiculousness of Important If True and their banter

It’s a cool game but the podcasts meant more to me

 

That’s so crazy. Good for him. Lol I selfishly hoped he would replace Kyle on EZA

 

I figured he was going to land at a major news outlet. Honestly I kind of thought WaPo had scooped him up considering that glowing profile they did of him the other day when he announced he was leaving Kotaku.

Looking forward to him having way more resources at his disposal now, also. That's going to seriously help him out with the kinds of stories he writes.

i watched an interview where Gabe talk about Half Life Alyx and the Firewatch team and he just kept praising them every chance he got. so I hope that team is really doing well.

gabe also said he didn’t like Slay the Spire and i got mad

 

they probably don’t even wanna work on that game anymore when they get to work on half life etc. - that’s the kind of shit kids wanna be video game designers for

 

I follow most of them on Twitter and they all sound super passionate about working on Alyx and how they’re enjoying being at Volvo.

 

If you ever listened to IdleThumbs it was basically an ad for Valve about 60% of the time

 

Man, forgot how enjoyable Watch dogs is.
