I'm planning on playing when it opens up for Xbox. You played it yet?

 

I've watched people live streaming on YouTube it looks like so much fun

 

Late to the party, but wow, the traversal in Spider-Man is sooo damn good. I literally overshoot every objective cause it's just so fun swinging around. An hour in and I can tell this is going to be good.

was watching some streams of the cod blackout gameplay and while it looked cool, I don't think I'd be enjoying it much.

 

I'm excited to try it. I like Fortnite but I've grown kinda tired of the building aspect. I just want to shoot people, I don't want to try to shoot them as they've boxed themselves in and just keep replacing the wall as I keep shooting it etc etc.

 

building is what makes FortNite for me personally tbh. It got so boring watching them just run around and kill each other. The only cool thing was the different stuff they had like rc cars and floor traps.

 

Yeah to each their own, I know people love building in fortnite but I just want to shoot people.

 

yeah like I welcome all new battle royale games because they can always bring new ideas to change the scene.(except pubg they have gotten quite stale)

Repeating what everyone else already said - Spiderman is awesome.

Barely touched the story though. Spent all of my time unlocking the towers, getting backpacks and taking pictures of landmarks. Even if the game was just swinging around and doing bullshit like that it'd be awesome haha.

 

Might be the first year since 99' that I don't buy the NHL game. Just don't care enough to spend 90 CAD on a roster update. It doesn't look like much of an improvement over last year.

 

I said last year was the first year I wasn't going to buy it for the same reason. Ended up snagging it in Jan or Feb though when it went on sale for $20.

 

Yeah if anything I'll pick it up around that same time.

 

60 hours later... 100% in Hollow Knight. I cannot remember the last time a game took over like this one did.

 

I watched a couple YouTube videos of people playing it and you could tell they were used to fortnite. One of them kept complaining that he'd get killed while looting because he was vulnerable. Like yeah, looting is a risk and building a box around yourself to keep safe isn't the norm.

Looked fun to me though, I play some pubg on Xbox but it's a mess so I'm looking forward to playing this.

 

Black Ops 4 BR mode is very fun, played a few hours last night with a friend, got killed mostly and barely killed anyone but I havent played a COD game in years. Being able to ride helicopters and ATVs with your friend is unbelievably fun.

it's not perfect but have you gone back since it hit 1.0 last week? it's like a completely new game.

 

i preordered it yday to play the beta and then cancel, probably gonna take the whole weekend to download on my internet tho lol
