I mean people have a go at everyone when they don't like something that they like here, not just you. Like whenever I say I hated Titanfall 2 or DMC5, I've constantly got shit for it, even some personal attacks lol

 

Well yeah but as you say, it got personal and when you log onto somewhere daily where folk regularly take the piss out of you it’s seriously draining haha.

 

Yeah hence why I'm on here a lot less now and use the block feature way more often lol

 

I just read through the last page of posts and I figured I'd drop this in here. I don't go a day without playing video games, yet I typically hold myself back from writing in this specific forum. I always felt whenever I shared my opinion or asked a question about a game, I either got no response or some sort of negative response.

I played DMC5 for like 25 minutes the other day on gamepass, huge MEH

Ryan, what games are some of your favorites of all time?

 

Is this a trap? Because I’m gonna say BioShock, The Last of Us, Limbo, RDR2, Condemned, Hotline Miami and Alien Isolation. Plenty I’m missing out but yeah...any mention of at least two of those gets a three page essay on why I’m an idiot or don’t have good taste lol.

 

Just finished up The Outer Worlds, really enjoyed it. I wanna pick up a game for the Switch but not sure what to get - thinking either Astral Chain or Ultimate Alliance 3. What about you?

 

Idk how I found RDR2 so tedious yet I enjoy Animal Crossing so much haha

 

Dude I loved The Outer Worlds. It's funny, I played it about 6 months ago, so it made me wanna try out a Fallout game so I started playing Fallout 4 last week on gamepass and fucking love it. Probably gonna try New Vegas after it as well. Besides that playing Animal Crossing of course. Astral Chain is extremely intense and satisfying.

 

Fallout 4 is good jers don’t let anyone else tell ya different

 

New Vegas is so good. It would have been the best game ever if Zenimax hadn’t rushed Obsidian to make it in like 18 months.

 

I wish I enjoyed Fallout more, I played 3 for a few hours but it was just so bleh after a while. Just too grim for me

 

Though even with that short time frame Obsidian the gods were able to make a great FO game apparently. Still haven’t played NV, and I pray for a remaster

 

I think I’d enjoy TOW more though because the locations look more varied at least

 

Yeah I remember always seeing people not enjoy it on here, but I have a few IRL friends that love it so I gave it a shot. I'm about 30 hours in and i'm all the fuck in on it so no one can sway my opinion

I think my issue with Fallout was the gunplay outside of VATS was just...nahhhh. And I guess I’m after a SERIOUSLY grim and more realistic approach to apocalypse stuff. Having giant green super mutants shout at me and floating robots isn’t my vibe and I don’t know what I expected going into it...just wasn’t that. The gameplay of all Elder Scrolls/Fallout games has always felt so archaic and wooden that I cannot gel with them.
