I liked Origins basically just as much as the rest of the series, have always been super confused as to why people hated it

agreed. i thought the different cast did a great job, i loved the aesthetic, the story, and the score. i get that they are different developers, but it bums me out that we got hd remasters for ps4 of all the others but not Origins.

Rumors of Shadow of the Colossus being the PS Plus game. Which is great for people that have never played it. Love that game.

Harmonix has announced Fuser, which is basically Dropmix but as a video game

And Platinum Games has announced their first game as a publisher, Project G.G., which will be directed by Hideki Kamiya (Viewtiful Joe, Bayonetta) and looks like it's a giant monster battling game?

Let's be honest, that was a PR move. (One which I gladly threw money at for the Switch version, but yeah.)

The only real bummer is that the KickStarter is now going to make people think "HEY, IT ONLY COSTS 50K TO REMAKE A GAME FOR SWITCH WHY AREN'T YOU DOING IT DEVS"

 

Probably for a quick cash infusion, tbh. People essentially preorder the game now and Platinum gets that money right away instead of having to wait. I've been reading rumors that the project was already mostly done anyway too lol. Not the right way to use Kickstarter but oh well.

 

bought base game Civ 6 on switch and part of me regrets it because it's all i've been thinking about since yesterday. even brought my switch at work which i never do. i feel like making it playable on the go was a bad idea

Double Fine published games, let others publish their own games and used Kickstarter. Gotta get it where you can.
