Spiderman is awesome. I love that you can skip puzzles and quick time events via settings. The controls are a little conveluted and some obvious moves from other good Spiderman games are somehow missing (like instantly zipping to the ceiling), but whatever.

 

God. I wish I had known you could turn off the puzzles.

 

You even still get the upgrade tokens from the optional puzzles, it’s awesome lol

 

Doom was great. Like holy shit what a fun game.

Console wars are silly but this is just too hilarious

 

So I downloaded GoW III: Remastered since it's free this month. Though it's cinematic gold, and much better than the first two, after playing AC: Origins for 2 months I find it feeling clunky and a little repetitive. It's quite obviously a game designed on a previous console generation. But, I wanted to play it with the expectation of picking up the new one within the coming months (probably black friday.)

 

Stoked for this to go on sale. lol

I liked the first game, but this game just isn't what I want from Tomb Raider. It's just more about the grit and brutally killing people than anything else and that's not why I liked the series.

 

This review says they've moved away from that and talk about the hypocrisy of raiding tombs.

 

I've also watched a lot of gameplay stuff and a few other reviews talk about this as well.

 

I think the last TR game wasn’t about combat either. I like them, they just keep releasing them at bad times.

Was this game any good? I don't remember there being much hype.

 

I liked it. Replayed it a few years ago and it was okay.

Depending on the price/how reworked the multiplayer is I might grab it.

 

Finally got the chance to sit and play Spider-Man for my birthday. It might only be a small piece but this world they've created is truly incredible.

Sooooo who else is gonna play the Black Ops 4 BR beta today? PS4 gets it all week, im pretty stoked to get my ass kicked.

 

I for one am excited about the new Tomb Raider. Fantastic games.
