Funhaus always has interesting podcasts. Their dude soup podcast covers games, movies (although they have a movie one called filmhaus) and just general stuff. They’re hilarious and a really interesting group of people.

and they are bashing JRPGs as a whole to start

that was one of the first 3 eps I downloaded lol

 

well jrpg’s are video games and all video games are bad so that tracks

 

i will say i am pretty much done with JRPGs built around random encounters outside of DQ and Pokemon from now on unless something earth shattering comes out. it's just not fun to me anymore, just let the game be shorter ffs.

 

Don't worry they are barely made anymore, even FF ducked out of that a long time ago.


I want more turn-based/random encounter ugh.
