for sure, and it's crazy how much ingrained design there is. i was showing a friend a game and she didn't realize that the splash screen was waiting for her to move her mouse; she just thought it was still loading. admittedly, we were under the influence, but it was a moment where i realized how many lessons of game design you internalize without even realizing

This is really funny.

 

Been playing Infamous: Second Son since it's free this month but man, where the game improved in graphics it drastically lacks in story telling/controls. I much prefer the first one to this.


Gonna go home and get all that Battlefield gear and play that instead I think.

Is there really any point to putting the new Doom on the Switch? I highly doubt it's going to look and run just as good.

 

It's lazy, it is an approach that has never worked out, and they'll end up blaming Nintendo for it. It's all just a big show for shareholders (rightfully) asking them why they aren't on the hot new platform.

 

I liked Doom on the SNES. (Only because of the cool red Catridge!)

 

For those of you always looking for video game podcasts, a newish one I just got into is "Fave This" by Gita Jackson (which I think is one of the more interesting voices in all of video games media) and Patricia Hernandez.

 

I have close to $140 in PayPal credit from selling a few blu ray/games and then a collector's edition of a Zelda guide. Think this may go into my Xbox One S fund. WOOT
