Just got through doing this again this week too. About my 4th time playing through. Also had a lights off, shut out the world time with it.

 

GAME OF THE YEAR

 

If there was a Dark Souls Battle Royale game I maybe would never play another game again except for that one

 

Played a little bit of Yakuza and a little bit of Mario + Rabbids.

Yakuza is Yakuza 0 mechanics + Yakuza 1 story so it's pretty great, Yakuza 1's story is still one of my favorites of the series even six games in so I'm pumped to see it with more modern graphics and mechanics.

Mario + Rabbids is awesome so far. Looks gorgeous, the starting strategy mechanics are very solid and seem like they'll quickly get more advanced now that I have access to the skill tree. Some of these skills seem like they'll really start to switch things up. I love that you stumble on battles as you progress through levels and that the battles take place on a part of each level that you can explore once the fight is done. It's really neat. There seem to be a good amount of secrets to find each in each level to come back to once you unlock new abilities. Looking forward to seeing how the game evolves as it goes on.

 

Played the first episode of the new season of telltales batman and I'm really impressed with the way they managed to tell a complete story in one episode while also setting up the rest of the season. It resembled something like the first movie in a series as apposed to the first episode in a season of tv, if that makes sense. I kept expecting it to end as soon as the action starts like New Frontier did a lot. But it kept going. Not super happy about Lucius

 

Too bad gta online takes like 15 minutes to load, and then an additional 30 mins to join lobbies with friends. Shit needs reworked.

Not the best month for me especially since I've already played second son

 

Yeah, good for everyone that hasn't played Infamous SS or Child Of Light since those are two great, great games. But first month in a while where I won't be downloading a single one.

Oh well.

 

Definitely gonna check out Second Son. Haven't played that series since the first.

 

this is three months in a row they've finally included a big game after a while (Until Dawn, Just Cause 3, Infamous Second Son) and I've owned them all. I know it's luck of the draw but come on! haha. at least I have a vita and Hue looks pretty cool.

 

I'm down to finally try Second Son.

 

Oh hell yeah, was thinking about buying Second Son not too long ago. Loved the first two games but didn't have a PS4 when SS came out.

I really enjoyed Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. About half as long as traditional Uncharted game, maybe a little less, but the interactions between Chloe and Nadine were great and the visuals were some of the series' most impressive ever. Plus, the fun change of pace that happens in Chapter 4 was something I'd like to see in future Uncharted games if they decide to pursue Chloe as the heroine or shift focus to Nate's daughter. Final sequence was like a mix of the big action setpieces from Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3 as well, which was awesome.

 

I'm watching this marathon on twitch about starcade and I can't believe this was an actual show.

 

Beat Uncharted Lost Legacy tonight.

I guess Life is Strange unlocks at midnight, but I have work tomorrow so I probably won't stay up.

 

I just started playing life is strange right now.

 

Lucky you. Won't unlock for another hour and a half for me. Going to get up a little early and play for a short bit before work.

 

yo this first song when max walks out of her classs during the beginning is so tight tho I need it for real.

It's calming.

 

I just had my first big decision and it's bugging me so hard because I'm terrible at this games and I want everything to be good.
