Do you have a gaming PC (or, to a lesser extent, a Vita)? As far as exclusives go, Yakuza seres, Gravity Rush and Persona 5 are about it for pure exclusives off the top of my head but there's a lot more I can list that's also on PC or ports of Vita games (well, just Danganronpa really for the latter).

 

No and no. I play some games on my Mac but those games never come there.

 

I mean "Don't, wait for the big update". Their updating ReCore heavily to turn it into a, well, good game.

Okay cool, potentially long list incoming:

- Nier Automata is a must. Good, fluid action RPG but the real attraction to the game is the absolutely incredible story by one of the most inventive minds writing video games today. Also a phenomenal soundtrack. You've probably seen people raving about this game in here. That is for a reason. Buy it.
- The Ys series is among my personal favorite JRPG franchises and there are two entries on PS4 - Ys Origin and Ys VIII. Ys Origin might not look super modern, it was a PC game from like 2005 originally, but is one of the best entries in the series and has the best trademarks of the series -very fun fast paced combat and wonderful boss encounters. Ys VIII is the newest entry in the series out in a couple weeks so I haven't played it yet but impressions from the Japanese release are incredibly positive. It should be noted that outside of the protagonist and maybe a returning character, the Ys stories don't relate to each other much and you should have no problem understanding nearly anything were you to just jump into Ys 8.
- The Danganronpa series is a great murder mystery series, very Pheonix Wright-y gameplay (primarily visual novel style with investigation of areas to find clues and such, each chapter even ends in a trial of sorts). Some surprising twists, good characters, just a very enjoyable story. There are 2 main games, a third person shooter spinoff (that's not a great third person shooter but the story is good/kind of important to the overall lore) with a third mainline title out soon, next month I believe. Also recommend the Zero Escape series if you haven't played those on DS/3DS yet.
- Nioh is Demon's Souls (levels instead of a large world) + samurais and ninjas and is fun as hell. If the Souls games are your thing, Nioh is awesome.
- World of Final Fantasy is a Final Fantasy crossover monster catching game that's also a silly fanservice-y joy if you like the series. Similarly, the Dragon Quest Heroes games are fun musou games that work for me because I adore Dragon Quest. Dragon Quest Builders is a great time too but harder to recommend with a sequel on the way (including the multiplayer that the first game skipped).
- Some good Japanese remasters are on the PS4 too - FFX and XII are really well done and there are two collections covering all of Kingdom Hearts if that's a thing you're into. Valkyria Chronicles is still great if you missed that on PS3 (but the recent new entry in the franchise is not) and the first Gravity Rush is also available.

Yep, it's remastered, runs a solid 1080p/60.
