So pumped!

 

promise I'm not trying to be a dick in any way, but when I heard about this I was genuinely surprised that xbox didn't have spotify. I just assumed it was a thing they both always had, like the netflix app or something.

 

Microsoft has its own streaming service (that nobody uses) and I believe Sony had a deal with Spotify. So it wasn't on the Xbox One for several annoying reasons, haha.

 

It's called Groove and it yeah, it's not very good. I don't even think it has a mobile app. I checked out Spotify last night while playing some Forza Horizon and it's really nice.

 

Spotify on the Xbox one is the greatest thing made since they decided to make epic Mickey BC

 

I would argue that is the best thing since BC in general.

Super easy: download the app on the ONE and open it up. Go to your phone and in the Spotify app choose the source as your ONE. Choose a song, playlist, etc and press play: enjoy!
You can use your controller or phone to control it.

I think you may need the Xbox app on your phone as well.

this video game hip hop playlist is so trash that i nearly wanted to delete spotify

its the ultimate hip hop gaming which looks like they grabbed every popular hip hop song and added every g eazy and logic song possible.

 

also bass heavy songs are so bad on this because they sound super muddy
