Does anyone like the Telltale games here? I really can't get into the just story and button press type stuff..

 

Yep, a lot of us, me included. But a lot of people hate it too.

 

That's cool, I'm guessing it's more for the story than game play?

 

Yeah but I've also always enjoyed quicktime events. (though I wouldn't be playing them without good stories)

 

I've only ever played TWD and GoT. Liked both a lot, though GoT had a lot of glitching issues. The last chapter being near unplayable.

 

my mom came in my room and was like "hey redbox gave me a game rental for a day for free and i grabbed ghost recon wildlands"

so I guess I'm playing that today

 

Telltale games are emotionally rewarding but basically unplayable because the engine is so bad

 

That too apparently wildly varies because I've played them all and wouldn't consider any of them close to unplayable.

 

None of the Telltale games I've played had major issues.

 

I've never had any major issue making a telltale game unplayable. I've enjoyed them all, but they do need to work on their engine for sure

 

Episode 3 of Telltale Batman has frozen on me at different points every time I've tried to play it so I finally just gave up.

 

Is there a notification when this conversation will be over(again) about Telltale games? Lol

 

I checked a few weeks ago and they still sell replacement batteries on Nintendos site

 

I'm playing wildlands with my cousins and we are playing exactly the opposite of how the E3 press conference went.

We are going all giant bomb style on it.

 

Man I haven't played almost any of these indies GWG freebies lately, need to check them out.

Black Flag continues to impress me. Loving the pirate theme, which I wasn't too excited about.

 

Might grab the Surge for 41 on Psn.

 

Holding off on Pyre until I knock out some of my comic book pile. Really stoked for it tho.

 

Not knowing anything about this game, my hope is that its a Left 4 Dead style game where you fight the crowds on All Killer, No Filler release day?

 

It's a Dark Souls style gameplay set in a sci fi/post apocalyptic setting.

 

Not really liking Arkham Knight. Arkham Knight (the character) is pretty boring so far, and on top of that, the writers have already damseled three people so early on in the game one of whom is Barbara--those bastards. Like, holy shit, I didn't need to see her get shot by the Joker, or fling herself out of a car only to get shot at again by Arkham Knight. Damseling Catwoman basically forced me to revisit that stupid Riddler driving course. Other than that, I haven't exactly hated the Batmobile involvement, although I'm sure it'll become excessive soon enough. Also, I wasn't too excited about having Joker back, despite Hamill's great performance as always. The whole Hamill sidekick thing is too similar to Darksiders, which I've recently played. At least Scarecrow has been intimidating. Combat definitely feels a lot smoother than Arkham Origins, but that's not saying much. I don't know, guys, this hasn't really been wow-ing me like Arkham City did.
