Wait what? It's a physical copy with Afterbirth? Also is + also more new content or just referring to Afterbirth?

Afterbirth+ is the second expansion, a lot of new content:

It's out on Switch physically already (where that version already has Afterbirth+), I guess now that all the content will be out on PS4 they're putting a physical copy out there too.

 

So if I wanted to buy Afterbirth and the + content would I have to buy the physical?

 

No, + will be sold separately digitally too, for sure - Afterbirth is already available on PS4 for $11, AB+ will probably be $10 based on Steam prices. Physical is just for collectors who like physical copies, I guess, probably be a limited run like a lot of the indie physical editions are.

So what is the best strategy to get a Switch?

 

Save up money and buy one?

 

walk into target one day looking for a bread and decide to check the video game section and see a switch and buy it.

Yeah it definitely seems like they are. At this point it sounds like you kinda just have to get lucky and find one at BB, Target, Walmart or GS.

 

Or get mad at GameStop/Thinkgeek for holding all their Switches ransom in bundles.

Im back to watch dogs 2 after a weekend vacation that was followed by alot of gwent.

 

I would just order on of those Zelda + pro controller bundles from GameStop or something

Doing a second playthrough of BotW in master mode.

It's so awesome. Feels like it's a better game this time too, since it's not as overwhelming and weapon management and the environment is starting to become an even bigger factor.

 

Got that Need for Speed platinum today, that was fun! Also almost done with the story in FFXV!

 

Playing the Crash remaster. Gotta be honest, I am NOT enjoying it so far. Crash 1 is almost unplayably frustrating. It does not feel challenging, it feels cheap. I love this series but I may end up just skipping Crash 1 because I am finding the deaths to be cheap, the difficulty to be very inconsistent, and the controls to be poor/unresponsive. I have played the originals relatively recently and I definitely don't remember the first one being this ridiculous.

 

Are you using the d-pad? If not I recommend doing so. I've seen a lot of complaints about it but I had no issues with the controls at all and I enjoyed the difficulty. The only issues I've had so far was some of the hitboxes on enemies/Nitro crates being weird. What else are you finding cheap/unresponsive?

 

The controls are what I'm having issues with mainly. Mostly directional stuff but sometimes I press buttons and get no reaction and end up dying. I have used the d pad and i'm finding no difference. It's honestly frustrating me so much that I'm considering just putting it down because I just don't need this kind of rage in my life lol, from what I am reading around the internet it seems to be more an issue of a faulty remaster and not the original game. I hope they patch it.

Best example i have is Native Fortress - this level is completely unplayable.

 

Yeah weird, I've seen a few people say the same and I've had no issues at all, feels super responsive to me. I just got the gem and gold relic in Native Fortress today and had no problems that weren't my fault. Maybe try Crash 2 and hope for a patch down the line for the first one, most of the people I've seen complaining about 1 have said 2 feels a lot better.
