Aside from Crash I can't think of any time in the foreseeable future I'm going to replay a game.

 

I'll probably remake my 2K character now that I'm not god awful at it

No. But my most recent experience with some of the games I am replaying that I enjoyed in the past have not been as enjoyable as I remember them. With that being said, I will be more selective in what games I replay. Plus, the other side of that coin is that my backlog is growing endlessly and with new games coming out almost everyday there would be no way to get to them all if I continued to play games I have already played.

 

my backlog is way too much to be replaying things.

Speaking of a backlog, finally picked up Dying Light since it was (is still?) on sale and have been enjoying it immensely so far, which I'm surprised after how tiring Dead Island was for me.
-the combat feels really dire now and less arcade-y than Dead Island which is a welcomed improvement
-the free running works so well
-I really like the way they divide gaining experience: do parkour stuff, gain athletic experience. fight zombies, gain combat experience. etc.
-getting stuck outside at night is terrifying

 

I've finally got around to playing Ori and it is siiiick.

so that's 15 games :S lol

i also have FFXII pre ordered, and i want AC origins. lol

 

I just picked it the Definitive Edition, which comes with both the original and remaster() when it was on sale for $10 and I can't wait to play it. I have heard it is challenging but an amazing game. I am excited they announced a new game.

 

I bought it when it first came out and I've only now started playing it, haha.

are the most GLARING entries on my backlog

 

I have over 300 games on my "ready to install list" on the ONE alone.

 

I swear sometimes the Waypoint Podcast manages to completely disappear up its own ass in only 30 minutes

And I just bought the Metro Redux Collection (which I've never played) for $20 because I'm dumb.

 

I guess I'm more picky about games. I'm only ever really interested in like 10 a year, at most. I hardly ever go back to stuff from multiple years passed.

 

I'm becoming more and more picky and half of the games I do buy I end up not really liking

 

I'm relatively close to wrapping up Persona 5, and after that I'll make my way through Hitman Season 1, which was only 30 bucks at GameStop today. Big sale on that I guess. Pretty sure I only have Shadow of Mordor after that. FIFA, Shadow of War, and AC Origins are all in that early fall period.

 

The trends of gaming:
MP included with every game, Zombies, MMO's and Free 2 Play, Digital Card games and now Online Games Passes!

 

of all the zombie centered games, I think this was done particularly tasteful.

 

That Sega Netflix is a smartphone thing though so HARD PASS

Have you played Sonic 1 or whatever on iOS and liked it? If so you're a stronger man than me hahah

 

I haven't. I play very few phone games and most of them are pretty mindless like Candy Crush or Dots & Co.

 

If you had you would not be excited for this either, the ports are so bad haha

Friday the 13th on Xbox is frustrating. So much fun when it allows me to play it though.
