Well yeah, that goes without saying.

 

I can picture the Uncharted series going in a direction like Assassin's Creed, except, not coming out on a yearly basis. Different areas, protagonists, stories and all.

I'm cool with it.

 

Everything they've done has been great so there's really no reason to worry too much about their future output. Like if U4 was a step down I'd be worried.

 

I'll be fine with it if it's not Naughty Dog making them, haha.

 

I have no problems with them going all in on Lost Legacy if they're passionate about it

I don't like the idea of unfocused Uncharted games all the time with random protagonists

 

Gears of War!

 

I am always excited for remasters and being able to experience them again with better graphics but with that being said, I can say that every remaster I have replayed has not the felt the same as the first time I played it. This has been true for:
Bioshock
Bioshock 2
Bioshock Infinite
Deadspace (not remastered but BC)
Darksiders
Disney Afternoon Collection

I say this because I know the Crash remasters are coming and a lot of people are excited because of the memories they had as a child, a few years ago, etc but at the same time you may not experience it the same and feel as though you are dragging yourself through it.

At times it's better to remember the games for what they were instead of trying to relive that joy you had.

 

I definitely agree. However with Crash I'm mostly excited because now I get to share it with my kids without it being outdated.

 

I'm more dismayed that they felt a sequel for The Last Of Us was needed.

 

I've played through all three Crash games many times, I love them every time. I can't think of many remasters I've played, usually because I don't care about them, but Final Fantasy X was as magical as ever, as was Wind Waker HD.

 

Was about to bring up FFX next. That remaster was excellent, especially with the addition of International Version.

 

I'd prefer to see Naughty Dog go in a different direction too, but after how good with UC4 was, I completely trust them to continue making good games, whatever the IP. They're easily my favorite developer and I've never disliked one of their games.

 

I don't think it was needed but if they have a story that they think is worth telling I'm very excited to experience it, the trailer we have so far helped convince me. I have very little desire to play more Uncharted games.

 

There are exceptions to the rule of course but I know a lot of people that avoid remasters for this reason alone: the experience they had when they initially played the game.

 

Yeah, I don't expect them to start making bad games or anything, The Lost Legacy still looks like a very good game, but even that just feels like "more Uncharted" to me and I feel like that will only get worse if they continue. I just don't want them to be restricted creatively by a successful franchise.

 

I think there's few, if any, things out there that give you the same experience you had the first time. I tend to not revisit many things because of this, and I'd just rather experience new things, but when I do it's usually something special to me and more often than not it just cements how much I love it.

 

Same. I'll play it, but damn if the ending to the first wasn't perfect.

 

BioShock Infinite remaster also felt pointless and as if they just wanted to be able to package it with the Bioshock 1/2 remasters

 

The epiphany I came to is that I will refrain from replaying games I enjoyed just because I want to keep that memory a happy one. If a remaster comes out that I want to play and have never played, I will absolutely indulge. With that being said, I am skeptical of the Crash games holding up with time. But, having not really played them initially, I will give them a fair shot.

 

I'm excited for more Uncharted. Lots of cool characters to explore. I'm very excited for the Lost Legacy.

 

I agree. Although, I really enjoyed finding the hidden logs with the developer commentary in Bioshock.

If I just bought my PS4 and made an account (haven't activated PSN subscription on it yet), can I make a different master account under a different email address on the console?

I've done research but found a bunch of varying answers. Anyone here ever do this?
