Tbf Uncharted 1 was pretty good at the time, definitely showed off what was potentially possible with the PS3 in terms of graphics in the early days. The gameplay did get a bit repetitive though (especially towards the end) and it is dated now. It was really 2 that made the franchise though, that game was flawless at the time (I can't comment on how it still holds up as I haven't played it in years).

I never got the gameplay complaints about TLOU. Never felt bored or too hard.

There are also some exemplary designed levels in that thing.

I don't think the gameplay was bad but I don't think it was great or anything. I still think it's a good game and is also very overhyped but eh, hype is hype.

The only complaint I have with the TLOU gameplay is that your encounters with hunters and walkers/clickers were always separate. Which they then addressed with Left Behind and it was great

Gameplay was FAR from Uncharted. Uncharted is a run and gun, Last of Us you have to plan out your battles and conserve ammo, use stealth, kill differently depending on the situation. I remember a time when I was in the graveyard trying to make my way to the truck when I was faced with 4 clickers, I only had two bullets, a bat and a moltov. Maybe you played it on easy or some shit. Also the story wasn't "that good", but you didn't even finish.

I never thought the gameplay in TLoU was anything to write home about but it's perfectly serviceable, especially on higher difficulties. The big leap forward Naughty Dog made in Uncharted's gameplay from 3 -> 4 makes me hope there's a similar sort of jump in TLoU2. Story was where that game really shined, easily one of the best of last gen and it alone makes the game also one of my favorites of the generation.

so I was looking for a way to keep track of all releases, and I found this neat little thing after at least half an hour of searching: Game Releases

After adding that calendar to my google account, I installed Google Calendar on my iOS device and now I'm able to track stuff. Not sure how you guys are doing it but would love to hear it. I'm all for efficiency.

The PS4 probably has more HD remasters than the XB1 has current gen exclusives sooo

Also, TLOU had a great story but the gameplay was whatever in my opinion.

I'm in the boat with the other 6 or 7 that were pretty unphased by TLOU. Solid game, prob won't ever return to it.

I've finished it at least 6 or 7 times since I first played it in late 2014.

    Daily FFXV is amazing post.

The Regalia is now back in my possession.
I'm just waiting for the game to kick my ass and not be able to progress.

It doesn't seem like the game gets that hard but damn I'm stocking up potions.

I played two hours of FFXV and went back to smite.

    That's basically a recurring thing.

Seems like the people who disliked TLOU are the same people who liked XV. We could not be more different, haha.

I tried to get into FFXV but after a few hours I just got bored with it. There wasn't much in that game that worked for me, lots of really bizarre design choices.
