Woah botw sold more than Horizon? That's pretty interesting. I mean sure it has the 100% attach rate to switch but there are a lot of PS4s out there.

But horizon had a better first week I think?

 

There is also the WiiU version, and Nintendo first party titles traditionally have a stronger attach rate than Sony or Microsoft (partly because they have less competition from third party games of course). For example, I'm pretty sure the only PS4 first party game that sold more than Splatoon 1 is Uncharted 4, even though there are so many more PS4s than WiiUs.

 

Also worth noting Horizon was a brand new IP as well.

 

So was For Honor.

 

Anyone play the whole Uncharted series?

Should I play all the way through all four of them, which can be time consuming?

Or youtube the story of the first 3 and just play the last?

 

Multi-Platform games in general tend to do better than Exclusives just because of the accessibility so it makes a lot of sense. Zelda is really funny because it has sold more copies than actual Switch consoles which means there are still people out there with copies of the game that don't even have a Switch! Either way, its really impressive it is up there at number three.

 

It's up to you but they all play super similar and unless you love the game playing through all 4 back to back is gonna get old. With that being said I think you should play them all though.

(I've never played 3 or 4 I'm just the kinda guy that needs to play the whole series)

 

Yeah my thought was that playing them all in sequential order might get a little stale as I get to the 4th one. They do look incredible though!

I love all four, if you've got the time definitely play through them. I think for the most part they just get better as they go on and it's nice to experience.

Don't waste your time with TLOU though. It's overrated af

 

lmao nah it's ok you should play it, but for real it's overrated as fuck. The only thing that kept me interested was the story and it wasn't THAT good. The gameplay was just Uncharted and that made it stale af for me.

Blashphemy. TLOU might be the my favorite singleplayer game of all time.

Having said that, I don't think it's even worth comparing it to uncharted despite some gameplay similarities.

 

I think it's practically the same game.

Yeah, I think you should quit while you are ahead. There are a lot of people that rank that game in their top 3. I tend to play the Xbox a lot and even people that play that console 99% of the time, rank it amongst their favorites. It goes to show you that in the end, it's the game, not the console that shines.

 

TLOU is extremely overhyped. Game is just okay. Story is good, combat sucks

 

Nah it's a masterpiece in every way.

 

To me, it's a pretty good game that's been blown out of proportion.

 

Uncharted 1-3 are fine (haven't played 4 yet) but TLOU is much better in basically every way

 

I'll take Uncharted 2 & 4 over TLOU

 

I'd say The Last of Us is the best game of the last generation.

 

It felt like a chore to get through at times. The stealth wasn't fun. I know I'm in the minority on this.
