Got the new Game Informer. The new Team Ninja game looks fucking sick.

 

I wasn't that far at all.

The more I play the more interesting it gets though! I just got to some really exciting parts!

 

the story gets better as it goes along, there are some intense moments. and there are a bunch of really fun side quests, and some of those are really emotional too. they put a lot of thought and detail into the side quests + the NPCs.

 

I've had real trouble going back to Horizon after Zelda from a gameplay perspective. So many little things just bother me about it. Trying to push through though because i really like the world/characters.

 

Yeah Zelda really did a number on those games. I'm playing The Witcher DLC and although I still like the game a lot, the way the gameplay "feels" is so bad and dated compared to Zelda.

 

I'm so annoyed at every dumb thing i should be able to climb but can't.

Oh shit. I remember that being announced a few years back and thinking it looked really cool, but hadn't heard much about it since. Glad it didn't get abandoned or anything

 

Namco's #PrepareToDine teaser game has been revealed - Code Vein, an (probably Souls-like) "exploration action RPG" from the team behind God Eater. You're a vampire, seems like the soul-type mechanic involves sucking blood. If it's anything like God Eater compared to Monster Hunter, it'll be a simpler, flashier, more fast paced take on the genre. I'm interested, at least.

if you mean Senua, it looks like it's not open world, doesn't have collectibles or crafting. In fact, people are complaining about that LOL! I really don't think every game should be like that though :/ this is more about story and experience. it's very linear, and it's supposed to be that way.

The look of Hellblade looks awsome, but I remember one of the earlier dev videos the combat looking kind of bleh. I'm sure it's changed a lot since then though, just haven't been keeping up. On my radar but I"m not sold on it yet.

 

Lots of really interesting ideas that I wasn't expecting in there. Comparing elements of this to The Witness felt really out of left field.

 

The main character's teeth bugs the shit out of me tho.

im probably the only person on this thread who cares about this but im so glad theyre releasing another one. one of my favorite fighting games, was kind of fearful they wouldnt make another one since i dont think it really sold that well

I had a dream I was in Life is Strange 2, and boooy that was emotionally rough.

 

This isn't a challenge or anything since I'm below average at best at it, but will anyone else be playing Starcraft again? One of my favorite games of all time.
