What games would you guys compare The Witcher 3 to? I know it has incredible reviews/fans but I want to make sure it'll be my thing

I dislike that both smite and overwatch came out with new gods/heroes today.

It forced me to have to choose which to play.

    music and baseball.

That decision should be easy. Overwatch.

I guess Skyrim isn't too far off, with a little Bioware mixed in

Yeah I'd say it's just like a better version of Skyrim. If you liked Skyrim I can't imagine you not liking The Witcher 3.

Started Sherlock Holmes The Devil's Daughter last night. Towards the end of the first case and it's very similar to Crimes & Punishment.

Winding down a bit on Zelda for the weekend to spend time for Shovel Knight.

Spectre of Torment is ridiculous. They made Spectre Knight's playstyle in a way that combat and platforming is pretty much the same thing. Not sure how I can explain this properly but basically a lot of your momentum (which mostly consists high jumping) is gained by using the attack button, but ONLY when it connects to an enemy. So if you miss or attack the wrong way, you won't be able to reach some places. A lot of the stages are pretty much built on trying to maximize that feature. It's so subtle and elegant.

For platformer fans I highly recommend it. Such a blessing to the genre.

Definitely want to check it out. Looks way better than the Plague Knight DLC. Couldn't even get through that one.

I digged (see what I did there) Plague of Shadows a lot, but I'll admit it took a while to grow on me. Spectre, on the other hand, clicked immediately.

Having not played any of them, it's best to just get the $40 bundle, yeah? What order should I play them in?

    40$ bundle? 25$ right?

Yeah you're probably right, I was looking at a bunch of PSN games too so I'm not sure what the price was.

Yeah it's 25USD. I guess the way they released it would be fine: Shovel Knight > Plague Knight > Spectre Knight.

I played them as they released though (with the occasional replay so I could get an achievement in) so I have absolutely no idea if playing them all in one go would be so taxing.

I really wish I could just buy Shovel Knight on the Switch for 10€

Yeah just play the original first.

Does the Nintendo versions have any special levels or bosses like the PS/Xbox version?

what's the correct order to play the resident evil games that come in the super bundle?

I've only played a bit but I've LOVED what I've played of it. I can't wait to see what tricks they use in the later levels, original Shovel Knight had some some phenomenal level design.

I ran through the game (currently 2 knights left) for the story. Certainly fits well as a prequel.

Similar to the og game, Spectre has some skills that can be abused (which is mostly for people who want to enjoy the game without throwing the controller). But I heard there's a new game+ which is way harder. So I'm really excited to give that a go.

EDIT: I feel like Propeller Knight gets the best level designs.
