A bit bummed about ME reviews. I was hoping to scratch some Firefly itch. I honestly at one point considered getting a better rig to play it vs buying a Switch. Definitely made the right decision.

Jumping in the Shadow of the Colossus bandwagon, the 10 hours I spent finishing that game is one of my favorite gaming moments. And I only played it a few years ago. Wasn't there a game announced recently that was kind of similar?

 

The Last Guardian, it was kind of a sequel I think.

 

Or third in the series rather. Who knows.

I'm only 10 hours in (and fresh off the original) and I think NieR: Automata is maybe my favorite action RPG of all time. The combat is fantastic to the point that I just run around and goof off and do random quests for the sake of it, the dialogue is good and well characterized, the random genre-swaps are a blast, and the soundtrack is just...wow. I knew I'd love this game, but I didn't know how much (and I've barely scratched the surface).

I hate that Persona 5 is so soon, hahaha.

 

I keep forgetting how soon Persona 5 is, I need to finish Zelda before that comes out

 

I found Tales From The Borderlands at Target on clearance for like $10. I had a discount that made it $7 and I'm stoked.

I'm holding out on also getting the Batman Telltale game also since that was on clearance for $13.

My clearance shopping has come through big with games.

i try to stay away from r/kia but i'm glad they've given up pretending to be liberal having defended in the past three months colonialism, the idea that black people are genetically and behaviorally inferior, anti-semitism, and white nationalism

 

Finished Sniper Elite 4 and though the ending is a little rushed I thoroughly enjoyed it. Builds upon the previous game by refining what worked there while expanding upon it with better X-Ray kill cams, new ways of killing people, more versatile levels and the ability to climb around more. Not sure where they can go next with the series since this is set in 1943 so they really don't have much else to play with concerning WWII.

 

that said, i like to play a game with my flatmate where i read them recent post titles from reddit but the twist is that it's always from kotakuinaction

That is great value but for me personally that series has never really been something I could get into, RE5 was alright but RE6 looked absolutely awful but the other games do look okay and might entice me to buy it since they are worth it for that price.

 

If you've never played 1, 4 or 5 that's an amazing deal. Rev2 is decent too, but only if you're a really big fan of the series.
