mostly it's just cool to amplify voices which don't typically receive the same platform as privileged ones. plus, when a group is too many white guys, i've found it basically ends up sounding like reddit, haha. art is best observed and discussed through a wide array of lenses.

 

Why not? Aren't they like some of your favorite games? You'd prob still have fun with it

 

Feeding them 60 dollars for some fun sets a poor precedent going forward, though a lot of people will still do it. Reviews come out Monday, so we'll see if I grab it on Origins Tuesday then.

Excited to hop back into Isaac tomorrow. Zelda has been great but I'm really trying to savor every last bit I can before I head off to beat Ganon. Luckily I'm still only at 70/120 shrines :))

Oh and by the way, I see some people defending Colin on here for "having a different perspective" and I just want to point out that that excuse/reason should have went right out the window after he followed that Youtuber on Twitter two days after that guy had a blatantly and extremely racist meltdown. I don't know if Colin is spiraling, or if he always just pretended to be "moderate", but where he is now is far beyond a reasonable conservative/libertarian with "a different perspective", no matter if he agrees with that assesment or not. Actions are bigger than words. I'm all for not living in a bubble, but there should be fucking limits.

I think they have done a good job of improving the formula. Look at the progression from games like Jurassic Park to The Wolf Among Us and current season of TWD.

I personally really enjoy the games and they are a nice break from the typical games that I play.

 

That engine has become embarrassingly bad though, especially in a post Life Is Strange world

 

As long as they still make games I'm good.

Had lagging/crashing problems with every TellTale game I've played on both 360 and XB1. Kind of terrible. Batman was "the best" but I noticed some lagging here and there.

 

I've played on both as well with no issues. I guess it just picks and chooses who it does/does not like. I'm excited for the Win 10 version of TWD soon.

 

Outside of the technical issues it's just a garbage and incredibly dated engine. Loads of general jank. Animations are very bad.

 

They've done some interesting things considering the formula they stick to and the restraints of the engine but it is far, far past time for a new one.

 

7 Days to Die was an interesting game and I would like to see them do something in that realm again.

 

Tony Hawk is apparently making a new game without Activision, or at least I think I heard that

 

was there bad blood developing? i was under the impression that Telltale's games were generally quite loved by the community, even though I think LIS beat them at their own game and i personally had some moderate complaints with what i've played.

 

I think I might donate to the THPS documentary probably around the $15 tier.

I'm really hoping they delve more into the development of the THUG games.

Just ordered (finally) Project Diva X since the price came to around $30. Totally cool with that. @Fucking Dustin get on that shit.
