Murfy moves with you, you press B (Xbox) once he's at a platform/mechanism/enemy

Did you play titanfall 2? Wondering how it compares to that

Yupp, I think it's the perfect way to modernize the classic RE style because it's still a "limited" perspective. You still get the feeling of walking into a new room and not knowing what's waiting for you around every corner. If that RE2 remake ever comes out I hope they do it this way too.

Started RE7 last night and it is absolutely brilliant, but just like RE1 I seem to be missing a lot of items and hints on how to find things. I'm enjoying it for sure but I've had to consult a walkthrough twice and I'm only at the part where I'm doubling back to get the shotgun :-/
It's my dumb ass that's the problem though, I'm too scared of Jack to pay attention to anything else but hiding from him! :crylaugh:

Word, doom is prob the next shooter I'm gonna play then battlefield. COD is way low on my priorities but if the campaign is as good as you say I may get around to it sooner than later

They are about equal. Your robot companion in IW is better than BT and there are many emotionally moments. The multiplayer is utter trash though.

For some reason, I feel like they might do an FPS. That's one genre where WB do not have anything in an Rocksteady's first game was a good FPS. But then again, their next game could be whatever lol.

As a long time RE fan, 7 is easily in the top three of the series. It hasn't been since I played 2 when I was a kid were I was actually legit scared playing an RE game. Every new door brings a sense of unease and dread, the villains are truly terrifying, and the sense of just being utterly fucked with a slim chance of survival is something the series needed badly. Plus, I'm impressed by how polished the game is so far. 2017 gave me the RE game I wanted forever and a day before, this year is off to a good start.

I had no idea Avengers games were in development. That's fucking amazing, I'm so happy.

Also that 1992 arcade X Men game is probably my favorite superhero game of all time.

If you die, how far back are the save points typically?

There are many checkpoints and the typewriter is usually accessible to save your game. You can use it as many times as you want to save, no ribbons required.

I'm having one of those "everything goes wrong in game so I'm losing a bunch" days.

    It's a bummer.
