Same. Though I'm pretty hyped.

 

I'm kinda on the fence now with Horizon. Like I'm sure it will be fun, but I don't know how much faith I have in Guerilla.

 

Yeah what I saw from GB's Quicklook looked like a way better Shenmue

 

I love The Witcher 3 and yes absolutely, though the patches brough the game closer to what people pretended it was from the beginning

 

Kill zone shadow fall is the citizen Kane if gaming, so have no fear.

My hype for Horizon is unsustainable

Beat it for the 3rd time a few weeks ago (it's almost 4 years old believe it or not) and it's still as magical. Best game ever made.

 

Horizon gameplay looks fantastic as well as the game's environment, so it will have that going for it at the very least. Hope the story is up to the same par.

 

I'm so damn excited for Yakuza 0 tomorrow. I really love the series and the various changes and improvements to the series formula look excellent.

Anyone play This War of Mine? It was free on PS+. I didn't know much about it going in, but I'm enjoying it very much; even though it seems a lot like a lot of mobile games I've played.

For those who haven't, you start off with a team of three in a town that appears to be a free-for-all and restricted by the government. You have to go around and loot things - a lot of things - food, bandages, medicine, supply parts (wood, metal, etc.). You build things with the supply parts, which allows you to gain access to more things that you need to build (ie, build a tool table allows you to start building weapons, lock picks, etc.). You do this all during the day (there's a timer), and once you're done building, eating, resting (you need to build a bed first), you can begin the "night". During the night to pick which one of your team can go looting, which will stay away at your home and defend, and who will be able to rest/sleep.

It's a lot going on, but it's tremendous fun. But you have to keep your team well rested, well fed, etc. which gives it a Fallout Shelter / other mobile games feel.

 

I want to address this - I made an initial snarky comment calling out hypocrisy of the thread and previous conversations, but I'm sorry it caused this and for bothering you. I didn't think, nor want, nor expect, the conversation to turn out like this. I had no idea how you or anyone would react.

The majority of posts otherwise here seem to be a call to both of us and the thread in general to not get so intense about video games anymore, so please don't take that personally. I don't think people are trying to be cliquey. Nobody here wants you to leave the thread, let alone the forum. And I definitely don't want to, or let other people, make you feel like you can't post here. Trust me, it would be the ultimate form of hypocrisy on my part (and I'm sure multiple people would agree), and a failure as a moderator as well.

 

Get intense about video games for sure, I think everyone just needs to try and not let things get personal which can be difficult sometimes.

 

Depends what you mean on intense, maybe you're seeing it differently than I am. haha

 

if you really want to see intense.

just drop the bombshell of most PS4 exclusive games are overrated.
