Night in the Woods

it's gonna be a dark but cute and humorous adventure exploration game about a cat who returns home from college and finds that things have changed. gonna have a lot of spiritual, small town slowly disintegrating, losing touch with friends vibes, and the two playable supplementals (scroll down on the site to find them) give me really, really good feelings for the full product, especially because it sounds like they're gonna delve into a lot of things (religion/God, losing touch with friends, feeling like you can't go home again) that i've struggled with for a long time and from which I have found solace in art, including games.

 

Anyone here picked up UFC 2? Debating if I want to go today and spend the money on it.

 

Is it possible to "beat" it? I only played for like an hour but it seemed like there's a main questline?

 

Seen a few people on here talking about Enter The Gungeon. Thinking about picking it up. How is it on PS4? Worth the money?

 

I'm thinking about picking it up too because it looks great, but I never play those kind of games for very long. The main reason I'm not buying it is because it looks like the kind of game that might be ps+ in the future and I'd be happy with that.

 

Yeah thats exactly my thoughts too. I'll be pissed if its on next month and I buy it...

Well I was enjoying Quantum Break, but got to the first episode of the show, but I can't stream or download it. Grrr.

 

Can't you download all 75gb of video or however large it is before you play?

 

Possibly, but that's a silly amount to download, haha. Xbox says my connection is great to stream the episode, but won't let me or even download the single episode. Skipped it for now, but seriously annoyed.

 

I remember hearing that streaming has been an issue for some due to traffic. I dunno, I've been streaming without issue but maybe it's just my speed and the times I'm playing.

 

Possibly. It was just telling me the content was simply not available to download or stream, despite my connection being perfect.

 

That's odd. One thing that pisses me off, is episode two came up and about 3 minutes in I had to stop and go to the store w/wife and son. Turns out you have two options: Exit or Skip. And you can't return. So I had to miss out on the rest..

 

Well that's super lame. I assume you can watch the episodes again later (or in my case, the first time)? I just continued playing on and am dicking about in the dry dock area looking for the game's version of collectibles like reading that amusing stupid time travel knife story.

 

Oh man this was so awkward and funny at the same time lol. I can't stand Big Bang Theory and how it's jokes aren't so much jokes as them referencing something nerdy and then that is supposed to be the joke somehow.

 

Started playing Life Is Strange today. Finished episode 1. Great so, far.

 

The gameplay is great, especially the stand up game. Ground game is finicky, but decent. It's a bit bare bones outside the ring. Got it and played hardcore for a week or so with the career mode. Haven't come back since. It's like most fighting games, if your gonna play around with a bunch of fighters and create your own events, it might have more staying power for ya.

 

Two episodes down in The Wolf Among Us. I love this game.

 

Battleborn beta is pretty fun. Excited to try different characters. I feel like the tank characters have wayy too much health though.

 

Yeah, you can go back apparently, so I will most likely do that at some point. Oh well, game is wonderful so I will forgive them for that..haha


Also, it seems like the game was #1 in UK? For the week probably, but great to hear. Hope they chart well.

Woops, happened again. Getting interested in a game that is from a series that has been around forever despite never being interested in said series before. That Final Fantasy demo has peaked my interest.

 

Yeah that's what I did. Wish I didn't sleep on it, haha.

 

Yeah, I found it. Excitedly thought the video for #2 was working when it started showing "last time on..." type replay before telling me to go fuck myself with the cant stream screen.

Edit: Ended up contacting Xbox support and had to delete my profile and redownload it, but can finally watch the episodes.
