What's everyone's price prediction on the switch? I think if they do system plus Zelda or Mario kart for $250 they should kill it. $299 is gonna turn a lot of people away.

I also feel like it's hard to pretty much give away a brand new console for $199 and canabilize their handheld market.

 

I think I'm getting close to finishing Rise of the Tomb Raider. I really have enjoyed it so far. I might prefer the first one to this, but it's still a great game

 

I think they'll do system for 250 but not with a game, they'll probably have a 300 Zelda bundle if that's a launch title.

 

$250 for a basic, unbundled console, $300 with a bit more storage and a pack-in.

 

I think they'll all have a pack-in like Wii Sports but there will be a bundle with a bigger game

Possibly with Splatoon pack-in.

I could see a Wii U game pack-in. I'd be pretty happy about getting Splatoon for free.

 

Splatoon would at least make me consider the Switch for a moment.

 

my switch prediction:

will be sleeping or busy at work and miss preorder window

will camp at walmart and they wont receive any consoles

will search for one for two months in sadness before i get one

Splatoon is too big for a free pack-in

 

Idk, it's a game they've already released once and I think they really want more people to try it out. I think sticking it with the Switch will get the game out to a much bigger audience as well as giving the base package something of real value.

After reading all the hype, I decided to buy Doom yesterday. Turned out this special edition was only 20 euros.
