Bought Overwatch today and played for like 4 hours. Holy shit what a fun game.

 

I don't really have any big gaming dreams left.

 

My dream...A new Buffy game, written by Joss, with all the cast back to voice.

 

Has their been a good Buffy game? I can't see it translating that well.

 

Yeah there were two good beat em up style games in the Xbox era, I loved them to death but I'm crazy bias when it comes to Buffy. And since this is a "Dream game" scenario it's implied that the game would be done well.

 

I want a Brothers in Arms set during Bastogne...like they teased at the end of Hell's Highway...

 

Buffy the Vampire Slayer:
Chaos Bleeds was brilliant back in the day. It's actually what got me into the series. Haven't played it in years now, but if they ever remaster it for PS4, count me in.

 

I'd love to play that again, my copy is scratched to death.

 

Stardew Valley is so great.

 

I'm thinking about it now and damnnn it was so good. Each level is still so memorable, and as I said I haven't played it in years now. I remember I played the demo like 500 times before I actually bought the full game. Killing vampires in Giles' magic shop was so fun.

 

Absolutely, I watched a few videos on youtube of it recently because I was thinking about it and the nostalgia bombs came full force. The cemetary, the sewers, the abandoned mine, and definitely the magic shop were such memorable locations. The variety of weapons, playable characters that felt different, epic boss battles...pretty much everything you could want in that style of game.

 

Half-Life 3 is the only dream game. I hope this comes out and I don't have to build a pc to play it.

 

I'm a huge Buffy fan and never played Chaos Bleeds but always wanted to.

both will never come true unless some random developer kickstarts a carbon copy of them.

 

Half Life 3
Portal 3
A Splinter Cell that is essentially a Chaos Theory successor, and isn't bad.
New Burnout
A sequel or at the very least a spiritual successor to Escape From Butcher Bay

 

Won't get the first 2, but L4D3 is likely.

New SC is likely and the old lead designer of SC rejoined Ubisoft in 2015, so maybe that's what he's doing.

Burnout is dead forever. Hell, Need For Speed is on life support.

Wolfenstein 2014 and 2015 are basically spiritual successors to that since most of the core team make up Machine Games.

 

Brothers got me Titanfall 2, Mirrors Edge Catalyst and Recore. Pretty happy to give the last two a go, as I probably wouldn't have paid for them myself haha

Also, stoked for TF2

 

i miss old need for speed games. wtf happened to that franchise?

There was a NFS last Fall, but wasn't received too well. They skipped 2014 and this year. So maybe a new one next Fall. Hopefully it does well, but who knows. The racing genre has shrunken down a ton.

 

idk if they're still on sale, but I just bought Until Dawn and Firewatch for a combined $19 like a week ago.

There are lots of sequels to long-dormant JRPG franchises I want but besides all those my dream is for a new Jedi Knight game. I'd kill to see Kyle Katarn again.

 

i checked origin, simcity is only $5 rn so i got it. if it's awful i can just get the refund.

yeah i heard, so i skipped on getting it :/ i used to be so excited for those games. i'm only even slightly interested in the forza horizon stuff. i got 3 but barely started it lolol

 

Only racer that I really loved was Project Gotham Racing 3.
