so apparently the grinch is DDOSing steam. That heartless bastard.

 

I know it's a channel catered towards PS fans but it's kind of silly using the title PS4 games when like 6 of the games on there aren't PS exclusives.

Plus it felt like they had some better options available to pick that we've already seen content for.

 

There's been multiple similar lists and videos out over the last few days. I'm sure there will be some for Xbox that has exclusives and cross platforms.

 

They're still PS4 games though, lol. If it was titled "20 PS exclusives you must play in 2017" then you'd have a point but that's not the focus of the video.

 

An all timer

 

Looked up some Xbox exclusive lists and Scalebound, Sea of Thieves, and Ashen all look/sound promising.

 

searched that YouTube for that video and was disappointed. That would be a good watch.

 

I think the only Xbox exclusives I'm stoked for next year are state of decay 2 and Gigantic because me and @lightning13 had fun playing the beta.

 

Scalebound seemed really cool when they first revealed it but the gameplay has looked rough.

Still Platinum games has a good track record for their major games so we'll see.

I'm still excited for Scalebound even though it has shown poorly recently. Kamiya has a flawless record as director, no reason to believe this won't shape up to be great too.

 

In terms of Sony stuff, only things I'm dying for are Persona 5 and Horizon: Zero Dawn.


If P5 gets delayed again, I'll die inside.

Heard very good things about this

 

It's been way too long since we had a good Star Wars game. I hope something compelling comes out soon.

 

The Star Wars renaissance doesn't really feel quite real without a good game. This is the perfect time for it, they're fucking up.

 

Just picked up the lego dimensions starter pack for $30 along with the adventure time level pack. I hope I don't regret this, but I think it'll be really fun for my wife and I to play.

 

The teaser footage of that SW game that got cancelled like 5 years ago looked promising.

I finished a low chaos playthrough of Dishonored 2. I really liked it. Accidentally killed someone without realizing in the middle, so I didn't get clean hands, but now to play again as Emily...

 

They should literally just remaster Battlefront 2. Watch how quickly I do nothing else.

They are rereleasing Marvel games. Should only be a matter of time.

 

Playing the Walking Dead game right after Grim Fandango creates an unfair comparison between adventure games, but this one is so good. I have never had any interest in the show, but there is a strong emotional core throughout what I have played thus far.

 

It's the best version of the series.

 

It's a shame that Telltale hasn't been able to match the great emotional beats of TWD S1 in any of their subsequent games. I think their formula still works (in particular for The Wolf Among Us's comic book noir and Tales from the Borderland's madcap adventure) but TWD S1 is still, for me, the peak.

 

Playing as Emily in Dishonored 2 is already superior to playing as Corvo. Or maybe it's also because I know what I'm doing the second time around.

Grim Fandango! Such a fun game. Adult me had far less patience to figure stuff out than kid me though.
