I got the Shadowrun Complete Collection and Offworld Trading Company (An RTS with no combat!) for 13 bucks each thanks to the sale.

Shadowrun Returns campaign starts off on a depressing note heh.

FFXV for $35 is so good. I don't know when I'd get to it, but maybe I should grab it just on principle

  6. I'm getting Dishonored - Definitive Edition, Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition, Grim Fandango Remastered, and Contrast, all for less than $25.

Give me your opinion on this game. It seems interesting but I heard a lot of bad things.

When it launched no one was happy haha. Then they relaunched it and reworked it a year later under the name 'ESO Tamriel Unlimited' and removed the subscription, and people were much happier. As the guy says in the first video I posted haha.

I played it post rework on PC, and I enjoyed it quite a bit, so I don't have the experience that other players have (also I don't think I've even hit level 20 so I haven't played that much. Well, for MMO time haha). And with those details in One Tamriel (which only launched a month ago I think?), I'm actually looking forward to starting over on my XB1 w/ the Gold Edition. I played on PC, yeah, but I actually felt overwhelmed and decided I'd rather play on console. Besides, $25 for the game + 4 DLC packs is crazy honestly. And now the whole world is unlocked with One Tamriel among other updates to gameplay, weapons, etc, I'll probably be playing it more regularly. There is a lot of detail and a lot of depth to the game.

What I like the most is how there is a lot of work put into the story, side missions, and characters. Much like in the regular series, you have options for dialogue/how missions play out and that makes you pay a lot more attention to what's going on and why. On top of that, it is breathtakingly beautiful to travel in. And MOUNTS! Mounts. Thank goodness. All MMOs need mounts. Why I'm, in particular, am looking forward to getting the Gold Edition is because I personally LOVED the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood in Skyrim, and I love stealthy gameplay, so having those DLC packs added is going to be a massive plus for me.

Zenimax have put in a TON of improvements over this past year (I think One Tamriel is a big deal especially), so they definitely 'saved' the game and have made it better as time went along.

As with any MMO, though, I don't enjoy playing alone for too long, so finding guilds and groups always makes the experience a lot more enjoyable.

Probably already been talked about heaps in this thread but just picked up Battlefield 1 on PS4 for dirt cheap at my local Target.

Yay or nay with this game? Bought it already so I'm gonna give it a crack either way.

The only other MMO I have a lot of knowledge on is Guild Wars 2 (Windows/Mac only). It was the first MMO I've played but I'd rec it immediately. No subscription. Very easy to get into. Many people are very friendly to newbs. The world bosses events that carry on pretty much 24/7 on a consistent schedule are some of my favorite moments in PC gaming honestly. Esp with Tequatl the dragon. There are a few ways to level up besides the story and side quests - world bosses, random events, crafting, dungeons.

I played FFXIV for a bit on PC and enjoyed it a lot too, but it's subscription so I only played for a few months and it's a bit more difficult than your average MMO gameplay wise. Combat takes a bit to get used to and movement feels less smooth. Takes some more time to level up as well.

Had the longest match of BF1 last night. Was playing Operations on one of the desert maps. It was so goddamn chaotic. Felt so good to dynamite a whole three person-filled tank.

Also really enjoying the Titanfall 2 campaign. The mission areas are really varied.
