Thoughts so far:
1. This is beautiful and wonderful and I'm already crying
2. I suck at stealth

 

In case you haven't already, I definitely recommend changing the control scheme to "Standard FPS" or whatever they call it, it helps a lot in my opinion. It's still clunky, but better.

 

Still on my "to play" list.

 

How many of you guys have PSVR on pre-order then? What games are you all getting with it? I'm getting closer and closer to ordering one...

Only thing putting me off is 100% not being able to afford it (kinda the biggie) and wanting to hold off before I know what sort of support its going to get 6 months, 1 year, 1 1/2 years down the line...

Bro, this game is legit one of the greatest of all time - top 5'er for me personally. There's one part in the final chapter that is one of my favourite moments of any game I've ever played but the whole game is full of great moments!

 

Sorry for not reading back through previous pages (no I'm not lol), but has anyone checked out the Outlast 2 demo? It's free to download until November 1st and is pretty fucking tense to say the least!

 

I just had my best game in super mega baseball and I was stoked.

I was on Ego 55 and my starting pitcher had a complete game shutout with 20 strike outs and 0 walks.

on the offense side my team had a grand slam and a home run so we won 5-0.

 

Need to give Super Mega Baseball a go. Keep hearing great things about it.

 

I've had some awful frame rate drops in the first few hours of Mafia so far

 

Should I replay Mafia 2 before I play 3 or are they completely unrelated?

 

They are related, but you could play 3 without playing 2. However, I would probably just play 2 and end there. Mafia 3 is way too repetitive. Not sure I'll be able to finish.

 

About to be on Chapter 4 in Trails in the Sky. This game has been so much fun, and they've done such a great job building the world.

 

Yeah Super Mega Baseball looks tons of fun and I may just have to pick it up for a laugh. I don't think there's online multiplayer which is a bit of a bummer but man I don't even care too much about that.

 

Forza Horizon 3 is an absolutely brilliant game. Racing through the outback in a Warthog listening to Thrice or Saves the Day is unbelievably fun.

 

Anyone pick up/have thoughts on Darkest Dungeon? Compulsively bought it for vita last night after watching a couple twitch streams.

 

I want to get into it more but it's crazy hard. I feel like I'm going to need to really focus to get anywhere in it. It's great though, as long as you know what you're getting into.

 

I played about 15 hours of the alpha like a year and a half ago, so I'm sure it's changed a bunch since then, but it was a lot of fun at the time.

 

The world building in that series really is phenomenal, I love the series so much. I just have to read absolutely everything I find in the game and talk to everyone because I just have to know everything about that world. Trails of Cold Steel makes things really interesting too, seeing the world from a completely different point of view/area, with a different perspective on some of the later events of Trails in the Sky.

 

I'm excited to get to Cold Steel! I still have Second Chapter ahead of me, and I'm assuming I still have a decent amount left in FC. I spend so much time talking to all of the NPCs and reading the books in the game. It's truly amazing.

 

Game receives my highest recommendation of the year.

 

Most sandbox style games are repetitive.
