Wow RE 4 is a ton of fun thus far. Really glad I played REmake first because I appreciate all the changes they made to the inventory/save system/dialogue so much more now. It's crazy how much faster paced it is, but the world building of the first is still there. Only 2 hours in, and also it looks great for a game that came out in 2004(?).

 

Chaos Theory came out in early 2005 and it looks great still today:

 

I remeber when I first played the Chaos Theory demo included in OXM, and was drooling over the lighting. Then I read the cover story on it, and realized the screenshots showed even more beautiful levels of the game. God we need another good SC.

 

Hopefully, but not with modern day Ubisoft (post-2008 when they started to bastardize all of their Tom Clancy titles for the ADD generation/8 year olds).

this has been the go to game for me and my cousins to play on the weekend and it's so much fun.

 

Life is Strange Episode 3. Goddammit. I almost wanted to yell at the screen, "Don't do it, Max!" But of course she does, and now Chloe's in a fucking wheelchair. If this plays out the way I think it will Max telling Chloe what she did and then going back so that she doesn't stop William, I think I'm going to cry. So heartbreaking.

Looking at the choices I made at the end, I realized I didn't explore enough in this one, I had no idea about a few of them, like the homeless lady or the Vortex Party thing.

 

So many good indie games releasing on Xbox this month..

 

It's been two years since PS4 came out. Where is my new Katamari game? XD

Dead Esther, Virginia, Firewatch, and The WItness are the ones that come to mind, I am sure there were a few others. I did not get Recore, doesn't really interest me too much and the mixed reviews will keep away until it's $9,99 or lower. Have too many games either way.

Started Fire Emblem Fates today. Good start.

 

Did you go Nohr or Hoshido? FE: Awakening is one of my favorite games of the past few years and I think Fates overall does everything that game did even better, but the difficulty of the Nohr/Conquest route really ramps up in comparison. I blazed through Awakening and have had to be much more decisive with Conquest. It's a really great game, though.

 

FE: Fates Conquest is so good.

 

Picked up Dragon Quest 7 for 3DS. Goodbye free time.

 

This looks pretty great, qualms about some of the dialogue aside.

 

This is the first trailer that has me excited for Watch Dogs 2.

 

Oh boy the diatribe that the MC randomly goes off on about big brother and the surveillance state, is the exact thing I was worried about.

Just insufferable.
