Wolf Among Us was a hell of lot of fun the first time I played it on PC. Looking forward to playing again now that it's free on Xbox Live. Curious, what is everyone's opinion of Telltale? I feel they used to have a name of such quality. I feel people shit on them now for just dumping out games that the choices do not really matter in the outcomes of their game. I cannot say I have an opinion one way or another due to me loving Wolf Among Us and what I played of Walking Dead I enjoyed.

 

I'm just glad they are finally updating their engine for the new Batman game. Playing Tales From The Borderlands was terrible as far as framerate drops.

 

My main issue is that their engine is outdated and showing its strains with each and every release. Wolf Among Us played alright on 360 and was somehow WORSE on Xbox One. Constant framerate drops, freezes, choices not registering, and other nonsense. They say they are updating the engine with Batman, I'll believe it when I see it.

 

The Old Gods update for Hearthstone can't release soon enough. The meta is starting to wear on me a bit.

 

I understand the visual aspect of of their games is not supposed to be the focus, but it could certainly use an upgrade. I always enjoyed the stories they put out, but then I played Life is Strange and my expectations for what TellTale should bring to their games has raised significantly.

 

I love Telltale. Meant to play the new Michonne last night but got caught up in Life Is Strange.

 

Playing the FFXV demo and the combat is really bad? I know that's probably cause it's super early game gameplay but dang this is not a good first impression.

Yeah, I suppose there is something to be said about the graphics being a bit outdated in those games; I question their marketing a Minecraft and Borderlands story game, both games incredibly niche for certain types of gamers.

 

Yeah I've had framerate and freezing issues with every TellTale game I've played, both on XB1 and XBox 360. It sucks. I'm glad they're updating the engine finally. It's weird they took this long but it's about time.

Also - Tales from the Borderlands was released last year and it was absolutely FANTASTIC. I would recommend it immediately.

Yeah I haven't really enjoyed HS recently. I just play zoolock and get up to rank 16/15. It's so stale now. I can't wait for the new formats and expansion

 

Did you play the other demos? The combat was way more complex than that - had different moves, combos, special attacks with other party members, etc. I'm assuming that's what the game will actually be like.

I don't like the Borderlands universe, I got it just for the Telltale name and I couldn't have been happier.

 

ahhh, well that's where we differ then, I love the Borderlands universe and had so much fun with one and two.

but really, the only game I play is Rocksmith 2014. Xbox for official content (I own all the DLC, like an addict) and PC for customs.
