I love the 40% smaller bulletpoint. Makes it seem like they mean it's 40% smaller than the PS4.

Outside of Greatest Games, I'd actually agree.

Sony first party IPs 2 guud.

40% smaller but still bigger than the original PS4?

The smaller point is silly; since they tend to run louder than their bigger counterparts at the cost of slimming down.

I'd prefer a quieter system to a smaller one. Not like I'm moving mine around constantly.

No matter how you put it there is a definite change in the air in regards to Microsoft making a huge leap forward ahead of SONY. I agree with Deviantrogue and that Microsoft has gone out of their way to prove their worth and satisfy their users on the Xbox, while SONY has continued to "just be". Let the controller be proof of that.

All Ps4's will have HDR gaming next week too.

It's actually pretty quiet, the One S. Like remarkably so, but it's not actually that small, just the original One was that big. The PS4 is smaller and louder, a lot louder.

Only thing wrong with the PS4 controller is the price point. Fuck it being £55. But I have one and don't need to share my PS4 so it's no biggie.

They really should have a non-lighted option for those who don't care about VR. Just an unnecessary battery drain for little functionality.

    Same for the controller speaker.

damn it is definitely much smaller, the previous xbox one took up a lot of space for me. im way more comfortable with the S. my room is kinda small. and thankfully it's not too loud either

If you pop the controller open you can unplug the light. Very easy to do.

Have you played it at load? All of the consoles are uncomfortably loud to me. But I guess that's just from coming from the PC.

Honestly you shouldn't listen to my opinion on consoles as there's literally no games on Xbox that I'd want to play so I have no desire to ever look at getting one.

Their EA thing is pretty cool though.

Cuphead is the one thing I'm looking forward to getting mileage out of on my Xbone atm.

I mean compared to the steam engine 360, the fighter jet PS3 and the vacuum cleaner PS4 it's pretty quiet hahah.

Yeah there's like 4 screws on the back, unscrew them and pop the back off the casing.

Cuphead looks amazing but also looks like a game I would be terrible at and and sad hate it. Day 1 tho.

That's actually what puts Sony at a disadvantage when it comes to these new models. They've sold a ton of base units.

MS has the ability to play pseudo-catch up as a result.

You game on PC too right? You can get Origin Access on PC.

I think I need to overclock my CPU. That or Forza 6 Apex and Deus Ex Mankind Divided are horribly optimised.

Think the latter is more likely

    @fangclubb Prestigious

Probably but neither will use my GPU's full load. Forza 6 was only using 30% and I was getting frame drops to ~50 until I turned on 8x MSAA. About 60% load then. I should be able to get a solid 60, but it's just not happening.

PS5 and Xbox Two will be out in 3 years anyway. Xbox One/PS4 base consoles are good enough until then since game devs will still be creating games that are targeting the 2013 variants.
