Side note: is anyone picking up DQ VII? I've never played before but i keep reading about how it's supposedly the best one and i'm kind of curious. Not sure what to expect otherwise!

 

There is a playable demo of FOR HONOUR at fan expo this weekend. My only goal for the weekend is too play that like 20 times.

3. Halo 2
4. Bloodborne
5. The Last of Us
6. God of War 2
7. Portal 2/Crash 3/Jak and Daxter

Number 7 is real hard. Limited to one per franchise so it's not filled with Zelda.

 

I'm so hyped for super Mario maker on 3ds.

 

punch club and super Mario maker makes me happy.

 

Also limiting one per franchise, my top 7 for would probably be

Majora's Mask
Star Fox 64
Skies of Arcadia Legends
Tales of Symphonia
Silent Hill 2
Pokemon Gen 2
Lightning Returns

 

that Nintendo direct was basically "we are porting everything from the wii u to 3ds."

 

There's probably a Battlefield 1 thread but I can't be bothered to find it. The game is pretty meh. Looks good, sounds good (that's the norm with Dice games though), gameplay is ok but it's not a WWI game. If I bought it I'd get as bored with it as fast as I got bored of BF4.

My only hope for a FPS on console will be the CoD4 remaster, and that's not worth the price tag.

my guess is recore followed by the witness followed by bioshock collection and then dead rising.

so basically there are some great games coming out that day.

Glad that Mario Maker is making (lol) it's way to 3DS but the lack of online mode is a big let down. I thought discovering and playing things other people create was half the fun.

 

Yeah I loved it! The tone and story are so amazing, not to mention the combat. Have you played Majora's Mask? They feel very similar to me

 

I would have loved a proper version of Mario Maker on a handheld, but there's virtually no point without all of the online features. Guess I'll have to wait for a potential NX version while I stick with the Wii U version.

 

No but I do have it! I will start it eventually.

 

no online in Mario Maker 3D is a bummer, but I carry mine with me most places, so I'm hoping the streetpass function will make up for that, especially now that it's been upped from 10 to 100 max passes

 

I'm a little bummed about no online but I love the 100 Mario maker level things so I am down for those.

I wonder if hes joining GB or Vice?

 

Obviously he's a good fit at GB but stuff like The Point would be a great fit at Vice, I could see that too.

EDIT: Patrick and Austin are both saying he's not at Vice, with Austin specifically mentioning that when Patrick left Kotaku he was straightforward and never pretended like he wasn't going to Vice. So Giant Bomb it is?
