i just beat uncharted 4 and wow that game is a masterpiece

How long have you had an X360 or X1? I've been at it since X360 launched and am at 96k. This trek form 90k to 100 is torture. I don't really play games just for the achievements, but on games I like i totally go out of my way to get a lot of them. If I would have not put in 800+ hours in Destiny since that came out I would be higher haha.

Also I'm fine with the FFXV delay. Delay's i'm always cool with so they can make me a better game. Also more time with Destiny: Rise of Iron and all the other goodness coming out.

 

Agreed, it's great that MS seem to get how a lot of gamers consider them important.

Got both 360 and Xbox One Day one (or...first three weeks or so for 360, don't remember) but for a long time on 360 I just played 4-5 franchises and didn't do much. Also my gaming habits have shifted a lot in the last 5 years to where I rarely play online games for more than 10 hours or so. So I move on from games pretty quickly, usually.

A lot changes and a lot of variables are thrown in to peoples gaming habits over a 10 year span of time for sure.

 

Yup! And as I said to Nate above, indies getting 1000GS on Xbox One was actually a big part of my boost since I those fit nicely into my schedule and usually are pretty easy to complete.

 

At least they admit they need to fix stuff and would rather avoid a day one patch.

 

I hope it ends up being an amazing game, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous for it. Obviously there's no way it'll live up to the hype after all these years, but I'm really just hoping for something at least on par with FFX.

 

Feel like I'm going to end up spending a lot of time with Hyper Light Drifter. So many things to collect and apparently there are some sub-bosses that are hidden away. I think I'll have main game done this week, only south area left at this point. Then to exploring for what I missed.

Side note - I wish this game tracked progress better. Like, knowing where I stood %-wise with collectibles and so forth would be VERY handy.

Very curious about UI refresh. Always disliked the PS UI, though PS$ was an improvement from PS3.

Need to go back to my PS4 and finish up a few games...

 

I agree. The UI for the PS4 has always been a bit of a "hot mess" and extremely difficult to navigate for me personally. I really enjoy the ease and organization of the ONE and the most recent update they rolled out make it even easier. I don't know how I feel about folders but we will see how it goes.

 

I may or may not have banged my desktop tower against the wall while taking it out to my car, crossing my fingers for no damage.

I have faith in Square Enix for pushing back XV. Plus now it comes out on my birthday so that's pretty cool
