I wisssssh I was playing it on PC today! I don't have $20 til I get paid next, and I can't find a download that feels safe... ha

 

I started Oxenfree last night and boy am I intrigued. Excited to finish it when I get home later today.

 

Worms Armageddon is great. I played it recently.

On a side note, been playing through all of id's old videogames for the pure hell of it, got them during the summer sale. Holy crap is the first Quake game hard.

 

Finished Oxenfree. It's pretty neat! Now I'm gonna try to finish the other two AC: Chronicles games (I've only played China). Part of me wants to also replay Deus Ex: HR because I'm getting hyped for the new one. I really need something to scratch my cyberpunk itch.

 

Hoping the Pokemon come to me as I can't be bothered to leave the house today xD

 

GreenManGaming has Doom for £20 and I'm tempted, but it looks like a generic shooter that doesn't really change from start to finish. Are there other things to do like challenges or collectibles or something? I'll get bored fast if it's just killing wave after wave of aliens.

 

It's a fun silly arcade shooter. Haven't even played the campaign haha

 

It's one of the best single player FPS campaigns in years. There are a handful of challenges in each level, weapon challenges to unlock extra weapon abilities and a lot of collectables (which make exploring each level super fun, tons of little hidden areas). Plus, the core shooting is excellent, you're constantly unlocking new weapons and mods/abilities for those weapons, it is anything but static from start to finish. Highly, highly recommended.

There are tons of collectibles, exploration, and customization options. Not to mention really well thought out enemie, and level design. Def not a paint by numbers shooter. For that price esp it's worth it.

 

Also Gat out of Hell is not good. Really disappointed. Thought it would be a fun open-world game to pass the time between Blood & Wine/Overwatch. It's very clunky I feel. Not to mention ugly.

 

Haven't played Gat Out of Hell yet, but I really enjoyed SR2 and 3. SR4 was kind of a mixed bag for me, enjoyed some elements, but just didn't enjoy the package as a whole. The game did manage to make me chuckle on several occasions, though.

 

I loved the first SR, and what I played of 2. So I was very much looking forward to it.

 

Never got to play the first part as I've never owned an XB360, but I remember really wanting that game along with the first Dead Rising back in 2006.

2006 was 10 years ago, that's so crazy to think about.

 

no need at this point. Demon's Souls was mind blowing when it came out, but Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne have it beat. At this point it's just Nostalgia.

That said, 4-1 forever.
