Rayman Origins/Legends are two of the best games I've played this decade. I want Sega to make a Sonic game like that so badly.

 

It baffles me that so many people are making butt ugly 3D sidescrollers when you could use incredible 2D art like Rayman/Child of Light.

 

My main interest in remasters is I'm way more of a gamer now than I was when I was younger and didn't play any of the games being remastered. So why not buy them for the first time in better quality than when originally released?!

 

2d art is a lot more expensive

 

Evolve might be going free to play. Could be fun.

I downloaded Pokemon Go and it was cool. I might keep it until I go to LA/beach and see if I can find any cool water type Pokemon.

 

Late to the party again but Siege is the best FPS released in a few years. Probably my favourite FPS since MW2.

Evolve is out F2P now. Gonna give it a whirl I think.

That Nvidia 1060 looks tasty. Now I've two weeks to decide if I want a 1060 or 480. Probably go Nvidia since I've had some bad experiences with my current card.

 

1060 seems like the better option at least with the announced specs/target of a 980 versus the 480 comparing more to a 970.

FE price inflation will be an annoyance for the first month though.

 

according to Digital Foundry, you're actually getting your money's worth with the 1060 over the 480.

 

Problem is will it actually be for sale for what they say. The 1070 wasn't and still isn't. Also euro prices

If it's not all that pressing of an upgrade I'd think it's worth waiting out the time for the performance upgrade compared to the 480.

And as always wait for benchmarks before buying.

 

I've had to undervolt my card cause it heats up so much and sounds like a train hahah. I'm not really looking for a performance monster just a solid current gen card that's not as awful in the sound/heat dept as my current one. AIB's for the 480 come out on the 22nd I've read and AIB's for the 1060 come at launch on the 19th so hopefully we'll know one way or the other around then.

 

I have to wait for console f2p version. My PC can run games from 2011 and earlier.

 

Splinter Cell is Ubisoft's free game for July.

SC, PT, CT and even gen 6 DA and also gen 7 DA wasn't bad.
