Yeah, it's frustrating that it seems every studio making COD games isn't really making me too interested. Guess we'll see what Sledgehammer comes up with next year.

We're the achievements as difficult? Two in specific in Limbo were just insane.

Nope, I have the 100% completion already in Inside. Literally find all the collectables and done. Most are quite easy as well if you just wander and interact with the environment. Also the checkpoint system makes it VERY VERY VERY easy to come back for them.

I love the way loading checkpoints works actually. In the menu, it shows you an image of where you were when it saved, when you select it the bottom blinks to indicate loading, then it transitions seamlessly into the image and you begin playing. It's wonderful.

Cannot recommend the game enough.

 

Just finished Virtues Last Reward last night, what a game. Can't wait to pick up Zero Time Dilemma.

I suck at playing new games and Overwatch is the only game I've bought from this year. I suspect though that with fall games coming, I can actually make a list due to being interested in a lot of the games.

A few big games later this year, so we'll see. Also, really hoping Cuphead/Below are soon.

 

Pretty sure Overwatch is the only 2016 game I've played.

It's crazy at this point. But I think the game will be something truly wonderful so I can wait.

I just wanted more of it. It was a very enjoyable romp, looking back at it. And some of them graphics were insane.

I guess, in retrospect, what soured me on it a bit was that dumb fucking last boss fight. Why, Remedy, why?

 

Well for me, I loved the length. I have so little gaming time, so I spent about a week playing through it and got my fill. Will go back on Hard, but I think there was enough for me any longer would have dragged I think.

Also, boss fight sucked big time. Cannot defend it, but it didn't piss me off too badly.

 

I still hope Rime comes out this year and is good.

 

See, I think the mechanics are strong and interesting enough to actually carry the game for at least an additional hour of gameplay. Plus, even though they had all these interesting abilities, the actual shoot-outs happened in very mundane spaces, especially compared to the wild shit they made us traverse in the platforming sections (that bridge... holy moly!!!)

Oh man, I really don't wanna be the bearer of bad news but things are not looking good. They had to ship all their devkits back to Sony for breach of contract.

 

Not happening, unless they partner with Gamestop or something. Doubt the game is even close.

 

I have lost most hope for that game now sadly. I'd still love for it to come out and be as good as I wanted it to be though.

Also I want Cuphead very badly.

 

Oh man did not see that. Saw they bought the publishing rights back but didn't hear about the dev kit business. Should've never got my hopes up, it looked too good to be true.

 

Also, the demo they showed was all smoke and mirrors, the game didn't exist back then. Not a single piece of a good news in that regard I'm afraid :(

 

Thanks for killing all of my dreams thread. Should've just kept that too myself. I hate you all
