I'm so ready for him to come to console hopefully before July. I could never play Athena for some reason. I guess her moves weren't just for me.

also I played against the rat twice on console today in arena and he destroyed so yup I'm prepared for op rat for a few wedks

 

GOG.com is giving away System Shock 2 for free for downloading their game client. Sure, why not?

 

I am set on Watch Dogs 2 just because of the setting, love San Francisco and haven't had a game set there since the last Driver game plus it looks a lot less downbeat than the first which had potential but was squandered by too many flaws.

 

Beat Gone Home last night. What a cool, atmospheric game.

Watched this behind the scenes video of Gamespot's Coverage of E3 in 2005.

Fascinating to see all the chaos behind it all, look at all the hype for PS3 and Twilight Princess.

Interesting to see that the initial reveal of the Wii made no mention of the motion controllers.

Holy shit the Starcraft: Ghost booth in the background near the end.

 

That's when I used to watch Gamespot! haha. I miss Greg Kasavin.

 

I remember being so hyped for that E3. I used to get excited even when I couldn't actually watch the press conferences.

 

Apparently he's a designer/writer at Supergiant Games now.

 

Yeah, I think he was the creative director for Bastion and Transistor so he's clearly doing well, ha.

 

I remember when G4 first covered E3 and they released a promo video doing a parody of The Greatest American Hero theme song. So good.

Played a little bit of FF6 last night while waiting for a friend to get on Overwatch. All the XV (and now XII remaster) hype has me really wanting to finish it. It's still just silly how OP Edgar is.

 

Against my better judgement, I think I'm going to pick up Persona Q and Alpha Sapphire despite never using my 3ds as is.

 

My Vive arrived today, in the process of downloading and setting things up now. See you guys soon. #RIP

Persona Q was interesting. I don't think I ever finished though. I got attached to certain characters and never really used any of the others. The plight of the RPG.

i still haven't finished FF type-0 or Explorers (very close to the end of both), and I'm nowhere near done with X. would like to finish all of those before XV comes out.

 

what made you switch from sapphire to ruby? also where did you buy them? i see persona q is $30 now on gamestop ($22 pre-owned) and amazon which is good because i remember when it came out it was like $50 and i was like nope nope nope haha

 

That's how my Persona 4 playthrough went, stuck with the original crew of Yukiko, Chie and Yosuke throughout, feel like the only character that would have been worth swapping out later was Chie but then she got God Hand and it was

 

I just like the legendary from Ruby better, I was browsing at walmart while getting my oil changed and the only copy they had was Alpha Sapphire so I figured Ruby copies would be harder to get.

Went to gamestop after and bought both used.

 

The new Cuphead gameplay looks crazy.

Oh man, I've nearly forgotten about Cuphead given how little it's been talked about the past two E3s

 

Somehow started down a path of reading the Mass Effect Wiki and remembering how great that trilogy was.
