Tried out Pharah for the first time last night and got my first POTG. Her ult is absolutely devastating

 

I've had a few games where I'm absolutely certain I got POTG and then one that (in my totally non-biased opinion) was far worse than mine wins it. I literally won the game for the team with 5 seconds left with a quad kill and didn't get it. I'm starting to think the game is conspiring against me.

 

At the airport, no Overwatch for me for a few days. Means I'll finally have time to play more of Fire Emblem and whatever the hell I have on my laptop.

 

The topic of building a gaming rig came up yesterday, but Mashable just posted a guide on building a VR-ready PC for under $800, figure that'll probably be helpful for someone

 

Yep my obsession with Heroes of the Storm caused it for me. Too much clicking, and I do enough of that for work. Do you do carpal tunnel exercises? That and a wrist brace has helped me a lot. And of course, not gaming for more than an hour at a time like I did last night. Stupid blizzard lol..

 

Yeah my hand was hurting today. Left hand though. I wonder if it's a console vs PC thing.

Also @Dirty Sanchez sorry I didn't join you last night. I was just getting off when I got your invite. I'll be playing a lot this weekend though so next time we'll have to work it out.

 

I don't know where I read it but someone described Lucio as like the perfect captain for a team and its so true.

I played a few games with him and the speed boost was such a big help for trying to make that final push and also immediately switching over to health. I felt proud to get two straight games over 5,000 healing since I usually cap around 3,000.

Review of Operation Wolf

When I was a very young kid there used to be an arcade in every pub and the best one was "Operation wolf"! Made by Taito in 1987, the arcade was one of the first Coin Op light gun games and was equipped with a massive UZI type machine gun on a swivel joint, with a button for grenades, for when the action got too heavy.

The player takes the role of Special Forces Operative Roy Adams. The object of the game is to rescue the five hostages in the concentr...ation camp. The game is divided into six stages: Communication Setup, Jungle, Village, Powder Magazine, Concentration Camp, and Airport. Completion of each stage advances the story.

BUT in truth the plot wasn't important. It was just an excuse to blast countless enemy soldiers, tanks, helicopters and other vehicles. The game was a side scrolling view of the enemy installations while you, the player, moved a crosshair around the screen controlled by the games mounted light gun. Like most arcade games it was tough as hell and designed to empty your pockets of pop money! I was so short at the time. I had to stand on a chair to even reach the gun. Great memories.

 

I've never really tried any exercises. The pain comes and goes but when I have it I can hardly use my hand. It's my dominant hand too so it's a pain. Been looking for a brace or support of some kind but haven't found one yet that I think will cover the right parts of my hand.

Just checked out Doom and TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan.

Doom was better than I expected. It really feels like it went back to its roots in terms of gameplay and not trying to bog it down with the story.

TMNT, is a game that is definitely more fun with friends. As a fan of other Platinum Games, (specifically licensed Platinum Games) this is definitely in the vain of Legend of Korra and Transformers: Devastation. The fighting mechanics are very similar, but the solo play can get chaotic since you also have to keep track of your other AI turtles.

 

I'm back on smite and I decided to just play with random gods instead of focusing on mastery. I just went 17/6/14 with Artemis and two new achievements unlocked. Woo.

I've already played 20 hours of Overwatch, christ.

I've luckily haven't had much hand pain before, I believe the last time I did was during a marathon league session of like 10 hours in a sitting, I do try to do some wrist/finger/palm stretches every few hours while playing though so maybe that helps.

Check out what your upload speed is by using speedtest.net, that's the most important parameter for streaming, I have 334 Megabits down, but only like 30 up.

Damn Battleborn out less than a month and already sitting at 40% off on Steam, what a bummer for Gearbox

 

It was hovering around the bottom of the steam top 99 games played too with like 5,000 users

 

Got Overwatch on PS4. I think my User ID is II-SpyKi-II if people want to add me to fuck some shit up.

 

Those Battleborn numbers are kinda crazy considering I played the original Black Ops yesterday and there was like 50,000 people online.

 

Just as a PSA, now that we're a few days post-launch, let's try to move Overwatch discussion to the Blizzard thread so that we can free up the main thread for other topics. Perhaps if necessary we can even split out Blizzard into Overwatch/WoW/Hearthstone down the line.

 

It's just terrible timing. Battleborn looks like it has a lot more depth to it, but Overwatch is so flashy and easy to get into.

 

the hate for Bastion must end! Honestly he's not as OP like he was in the beta.
