I did that once when a new game was out and it was hell but I can't remember which one. Might have been Resi remastered.

 

That sucks. I just checked and the burn is right exactly where my thumb rests on the left thumbstick haha. Slathered it in neosporin and a bandaid.

 

I'm getting annoyed with Smite that almost every game of Arena we have someone that dies a bunch early on. They proceed to quit despite us winning without them and we end up losing.

 

TLOU is my favorite mp experience. Loved the way they incorporated the single player mechanics into the online. In Uncharted they also do a great job with that as well. What I mean about the cod thing is that my teammates run off on their own and get killed by the other team because winning a 1v2 encounter is hard to enough. Also these same teammates just end up quitting and being outnumbered in this game hurts way more when it's only 5v5 to begin with.

Again, the mechanics are fine enough I've just had real bad luck with matchmaking.

 

Totally understand your frustration with Uncharted 4 multiplayer. Really annoying when your teammates immediately fucking scatter into the wind the second the match starts.

 

Yep, and when your teammates just swing on a rope back and forth and then fall off by mistake.

 

But when you do it, is it really a mistake?

 

I was talking about myself hahaha. Never seen anyone else do that.

And yes, it's always a mistake lol. When I swing around the pole and hang there, the rope usually breaks and I go flying to my death.

 

Oh I knew you were ahaha. So it does break in time? Interesting. That one River match you swung for a while. I wondered if it would just let you do it the whole match, or until someone found and killed you.

 

Yeah, it makes you fall if you are wrapped around a pole. Then you have a split second to re-throw the rope.

 

Enjoying gaming more now than I have for the last several months with me playing DOOM, Fallout 4: Far Harbor, Forza 6 with its new NASCAR expansion and Dirt Rally all keeping me wholly entertained.

 

Damn, this week marks the 10th anniversary of Half-Life 2 Episode 3 being announced.

 

Finished up just about everything I want to do in DOOM, all ready for Overwatch in...28 hours.

 

As someone who hasn't touched the multiplayer yet, how does it differ from normal shooter online? Are the game modes different or is it more the feel of it? When I start playing, what sort of tactics should I be looking at? Cause I would totally just run off otherwise...

 

It's less run and gun like most multiplayer shooters (in my limited experience. I've only recently begun playing more often online). You want to stay together with your team, use all the cover that you can, and stay moving. If you sit in one spot too long, the other team can and definitely will come up your backside and wipe out your whole unsuspecting team. Be prepared to do a lot of rolling and blind firing, there is a lot of success in that, even if it feels a little lame. I'm sure there are other methods, but this is what has worked when my team wins.

 

I don't really understand the point of adding MP to everything when it isn't needed.

 

I can't hear a goddamn thing going on in this DOOM campaign because I have Mammoth Grinder playing so loud.

 

The score in DOOM is so great and fitting of the absurd tongue in cheek nature of it all that I can't imagine playing it listening to anything else.

 

Because idiots complain when there isn't multiplayer and feel like they're getting ripped off for their $60.

 

DOOM is awesome. I have only played it in short bursts (maybe an hour or so, two separate times but it's everything I wanted it to be so far. I have heard really mixed reviews of it from my friends, but it is such a good time to me. I feel like I'm playing Skyrim or something with how much time I have spent just searching each room for hidden stuff. Jumping on every single possible box, rock, etc. It's just a ton of fun exploring.

A lot of the major rehauling seems to be lighting and recoloring, can't really say that I'm too impressed with the changes.

 

Is Dishonored for PS4 a good pick up? Never played it last gen.

 

I think the Arkham remasters look solid, beauty is in the eye of the beholder though.

 

I'm having so much fun exploring every nook and cranny in Doom. Let's see how much my time spent on it will drop post Overwatch though..
