I think Shadow of Mordor is up next for me, but my roommate picked up The Division so I might give that a spin.

 

Bully was a lot of fun until it put you over in town and then I just kinda stopped playing. not sure if it was because i'm a completionist and kept going back and forth to complete all of my side quests or just coincidence... figure i'll get back to it when i'm feeling the itch.

 

I love Double Fine (although Psychonauts didn't really do much for me in terms of its gameplay) and Tim Schafer seems awesome but damn if their recent bout of crowdfunding strategies hasn't made me a little cynical about even them

 

I started following the whole Broken Age thing way after the fact. Started the series on Youtube and....really sympathized with them actually. I think he takes his time and they are horrible at communicating that accurately. I do get people's issues with it, though.

That said, he's been a part of some fantastic games and I love that he has the chance to remaster them for current gen. Full Throttle will be amazing on console.

 

I'm almost done with the story, only have like 4 missions left and then i plan to go back and 100% everything in Endless Summer. I'm definitely at the point now that i'm just ready for it to be over with so I can move on to something else hah! i'm getting tired of having to skate/bike all the way across the map in a certain amount of time so I don't pass out and whatnot.

 

yeah it's not that i think they're manipulative or bad people - i don't even think they make bad products that don't fulfill on their promises - but they're not a company i'm gonna ever support through crowdfunding (not that there are more than, like, 3 companies that i would crowdfund haha).

 

I think shadow of mordor might be the most disappointing game I've ever played

Also, played the final 4 or so missions of Bully last night and when I got to the final "boss" fight my apartment had a power surge and I lost everything, so upset

 

Yeah, should be all three with all DLC. Pretty cool, depends on price of course.

It's all good i was just frustrated at the time, should be able to complete it tonight (if no power surge that is). I'm just ready to complete this game so I can move on to something else haha. I like it but it's kinda exhausting.

 

Good to hear. Know that feeling all too well. How I felt with Far Cry 4 and Mad Max.

Starting to feel it with AC 2. Just wanna get through campaign at this point.

 

That's the downside of being an obsessive completionist haha.

 

Haha, yup, I've given up on that.

 

I'll get the Bioshock collection because:

a.) Haven't played Bioshock 1 in years
b.) Never played BS2 DLC
c.) Never played BSI DLC

 

Anybody used PlayStation Vue or know anybody that has?

 

I've used it for just Showtime/Epix. It worked nicely!

 

I'm looking into it but it looks like my region doesn't have Live local channels which the wife wants

 

You could always get an antennae ("rabbit ears") and hook that straight up into your tv.

Told her that but she wants to stick with cable and a DVR for the local channels.

 

I'm tempted because
a) haven't played BS1 in a while
b) never played BS2
c) never played BSI DLC

Price will be key as to whether I wait for Black Friday sale or not

 

I hope it launches at $39.99. I'd get it day one if so. But at $59.99, then yeah, IDK.
