Ha, that was the Mega Drive/Genesis for me. Almost got one of those yesterday but I'm focusing more on the SNES because there's so many classics I haven't played yet.

 

It's alright, at least it's pretty. First 10 hours or so was excruciatingly boring from what I remember.

 

Yeah I mean it's by no means a worthless game, I just really didn't like it. It disappointed me so much.

 

Quantum Break is $39.99 at Best Buy this week. Time for me to get this.

Beat Doom. No idea how anyone could beat that on Ultra Nightmare.

Maybe later. The campaign was pretty long and I'm a bit winded on it right now. I missed two collectibles in the game, so I may wait for a guide to see how to get them. Some of those things are so complex.

 

The battle system in FFXIII is fun as hell. I don't like virtually anything else about it.

The story is so confusing.

 

started up Symphony of the Night, Super Metroid, Donkey Kong Country, Mega Man X and Earthworm Jim. Emulators are fun.

Also bought The Witness so I'm going to play some of that later too, it's like Christmas.

 

Yeah. Had to read the datalog for Cocoon and Pulse, etc. Too many terms too early too often.

 

Doesn't help that Fal'cie and L'cie basically sound the same in dialog.

 

Returning from thread hiatus.

Just finished Uncharted 4! Naughty Dog is hands down the best in the industry. Tip of the hat to them for making my two favorite games of all time.

 

The only character I really disliked was Hope (it wasn't Snow's fault, dummy!!) but Vanille and Snow were both mildly annoying.

 

Is it fair to say Lightning is the best FF main character

how is Rogue Legacy, picked it up on sale for 2 bucks. After Enter the Gungeon I want to get into more roguelikes.

Restarted Witcher 3 last night. Gonna play it all on death march and start over from scratch! Then + the 2 DLCs, I'm looking at 200 hours or so of gaming here :o

 

i went on a second playthrough of ff xiii (i'm at chapter 10 i think) and i've been reading the datalog, it's helped a ton in everything making sense. also, ff xiii-2, while it has the worst story of the trilogy arguably, has a lot more exploration and freedom, the paradigm battle system is refined, and i enjoyed the gameplay more. also i do like caius ballad.

 

I'm really tempted to restart it but I might just wait until the second DLC is out, play that on my current file and then go through Death March sometime this summer instead.

 

I only got around 50% in last summer and I haven't played it since, so I've forgotten a lot of stuff haha. I basically have to restart.

 

Played a couple hours of The Witcher 3 when it came out but then never touched it again because life got in the way. I feel the urge to start it up again but the amount of time to play it is daunting.

 

UC4 was dope.
