We were winning at escorting a payload when the other team decided to switch to four Bastions and sit back at the last checkpoint ugh.

 

Yesss more Final Fantasy on PC. Now if only they did the same with Kingdom Hearts.

 

FFX is one of my favorite games of all time and i replay it at least once every year or two. Enjoy!

 

Just got Godlike in Smite with Neith in Arena on PC. I use a controller on PC whenever possible b/c it's easier on my hands. :/

So whoever thinks I'm at a disadvantage for using a controller wellll I just proved you wrong.

 

Finished Quantum Break, a solid game but has a few issues and doesn't come close to Alan Wake. I am looking forward to seeing what happens by choosing the opposite decisions I originally made though.

Uncharted 4 is shaping up to be the best Uncharted so far. I am probably halfway or maybe a little under halfway through at this point. So far there aren't really any big set pieces that are memorable but there's just a lot of "little" things that are adding up just right for me.

Also, this is one of the best looking games I've seen.

 

Ah, you let me down, smh smh (just kidding!) Overwatch and Jack and Wendy are both from the Shining so I figured you had to have seen the movie at least. Flagg is the main villain of the Stand and The Dark Tower which are like two of King's biggest accomplishments. Fuck, that's shitty you weren't able to see all the collectibles because they were really, really good, some of the best writing I've seen in situations like that.

Yeah I have to imagine that as some point parents are going to think the sort of things she's thinking, but probably at their lowest moments, and they probably wouldn't solidify such cynicism as fact. It certainly goes beyond being a scared parent to mental illness, but then the question arises was the illness something always waiting inside Lorraine just needing a catalyst, or was it Don's death completely that made her that way. I go with the former, but that's not really based on evidence just the way I feel about mental illness.

Lol, yep that's exactly how I felt in the House of Horrors. It was unrelenting and it totally had every right to be because its a damn house of horrors. They can have something pop out every 5 seconds and actually have it work.

She does get her son taken away from her, right after her mental breakdown and Don's death but one of the release slips from the mental hospital mention that she should be allowed to have her kid back. He was living in foster homes. So you finally get him back and that's when all this horrible mother shit kicks in and then you kill him. You stab him in his sleep. And lie to the cops and tell him that you lost him and the cop says, "Oh don't worry, people lose things all the time."...At least that's what I got. You do actually see those scenes, I suppose the question is whether or not they were real, I believe they were.

I get that about Chad. In that newspaper right before the sideshow (the version before you take the pills) there was a lot of background information on Chad. Kind of got the vibe that as an evil individual he was drawn to the power beneath the park and tophat man allowed him free reign at murdering folks to stoke the cosmic evil. But yeah, there's certainly no resolution there. That does bring up an interesting question though, is it the Park and whatever the Nathaniel Winter was looking for the cause of the mental disturbances in Lorraine, Chad, and even Don? Mental illness caused by otherworldy shit is definitely Lovecraftian.

Lorraine did have a letter from her stepmom in the PT area that leads you to believe she had a bad (possibly abusive) father which would give real world explanations for her illness.

Kind of a bummer, I was looking forward to getting to play that with my daughter in a few years.

 

When I was growing up I loved all the games Disney Interactive made back then. There was Little Mermaid Story Studio, Arcade Frenzy, Villains' Revenge, Donald Duck's Quack Attack (way more fun than you might think), Pocahontas Animated Storybook, Magic Artist (4 games in that franchise), Tarzan Action Game, Hercules Action Game. I even learned to type with Adventures in Typing with Timon and Pumbaa. I miss all these games.

 

Clearly, you pay WAY better attention than I do at games haha.

 

Just started Uncharted. Man this game is fun.

 

I'm super bummed Infinity is over. They've been some of my favourite games ever and I've loved collecting the figures and discs.

I'm not usually bothered about TV shows and whatever getting cancelled, but this has made me really sad.

I guess we'll never get Mabel and Darkwing Duck...

 

If I had just looked at the team makeups I probably guessed the other team so nice work. Also congrats on the god like, It's such a good feeling to get that.

 

So, I realized why Dark Souls 2 was kicking my ass so hard

I apparently joined the Company Of Champions covenant, which basically makes the game even more difficult. I'm basically playing on NG+ lol. I feel much better now.

 

Me and my co-worker had like a 30 minute discussion today at work on Overwatch and it was glorious. It might have sucked for me since I wasn't working but still so glorious.

 

Just played a game with Ymir for the first time in ages. Me and my friend did moderately well but a stupid Loki really ruined the game for us by going 4-16. He just kept pushing by himself and failed when he tried to escape. Never know how people can play like that.

 

I will mourn the lost possibility of a Miles Morales Disney Infinity figure

 

UPS finally FINALLY came. Uncharted 4, here I come.

 

In honor of a new Mario Party Party being streamed tomorrow it seems the first one is available to all (usually need a premium subscription for MPP)
