maybe just because I love current marvel cinema spidey and also the new animated spider man movie(it looks good) but dang this game has so much hype for me personally.

 

Been playing Far Cry 5 for about a week. This might be one of the best looking games I've ever played

 

We Spent an Hour Talking to Hello Games About Everything ‘No Man’s Sky’

 

Any tips on Hallow Knight? So far I'm not exactly sure what I'm supposed to do. Been moving around the caves, collecting coins and bought a map. Other than that I noticed when I die all my coins are lost.

 

For those not turned on to it yet

 

You can get your coins back by going to the same place and defeating your soul. I found that the easiest place to build up coins is the forest and fungi areas. Buy everything you can in town and work out the items you like using. get REALLLLLLY good at bounce slashing on the tops of enemies. Its crucial for a lot of different things in the game.

 

I wish I didn't get Aces and waited to get Octopath instead. Aces has been such a big letdown.

 

Wait, 4 player in Stardew?! Thought it was just two, that's awesome. Does anyone know how it works exactly?

 

I almost bought Stardew earlier today lol

 

It's really amusing to me how much better the original soundtrack is haha

 

I wanna get stardew to play with my friend but she plays on PC, has there been any word about crossplay? I would play on my switch.

 

They've mentioned cross-play will only be between Steam and GOG unfortunately.

 

I'm glad to have stardew on nearly every console

 

I really couldn't get into it. It felt like a really melancholic take on Harvest Moon. So many of the townsfolks were either rude or just a bore.

 

I really like it but it fizzles out a little sooner and more suddenly than I’d like, which in a HM-like still means after like 70 hours though. Also, in terms of tone, I’m more into the nostalgic Japanese fantastic realism of the HM/Story Of Seasons games. Still, I’d say it’s the best HM-like since A Wonderful Life and Friends of Mineral Town, partly because it runs and looks so much better and is so much more fleshed out than the more current Story Of Seasons games. Rune Factory 4 is also up there, though it’s a little less HM-like. I highly recommend both to all HM fans.

 

I love the Rune Factory games

 

Rune Factory 4’s town and the town’s atmosphere is so well realized, it’s impressive. The farming just isn’t all that great, it feels like it gets in the way more than anything.

 

Also, for fans of HM and Rune Factory, I highly recommend Fantasy Life for 3DS. It’s not quite the same but it scratches that same itch. It might be the most underrated and overlooked game of the last decade.
