Is WoW something still getting into for the first time

 

I was working on beating the Darker Side of the Moon while my wife and I were on a Disney Cruise. One of my favorite memories from that trip is finally beating that level while we were hanging out in the cafe.

 

Do you fight Hornet multiple times? I'm guessing yes. I just had my first encounter and of course struggled then around the 10th time beat her without getting touched haha, it was so damn satisfying.

 

I believe so. It took me a few more than 10 times but when I finally beat her I think I did it with full health as well. Once I realized you could hit her with a down swipe and to stop jumping so much it was actually..I won’t say easy, but much less difficult than I originally thought..ha. But yes. Incredibly satisfying.

 

Okay, that's it I'm getting Hollow Knight this weekend. 500 moons and Darker Side can go to the back burner for a bit.

I see that. I think it was maybe 3-4 tries after I broke down and read a guide to beating her that mentioned it, ha

I need to pick it back up soon. Played a bunch of Sonic with my wife here recently to take a break from the vulgar screaming during Hollow Knight (which wasn’t much of a break because 25 years later and I am still terrible at the 3D special stages)..lol

i love the level design of Blighttown, once you get past the huge frame drops with either DSFix or the remaster. but, some of the fights are really slow and tedious if you're not careful about what level you're at when you get there.

that said, the fact that BN released a $40 patch for fundamental functionality of the game five years late pisses me off lol

 

I found out that there is a Killer Queen arcade cabinet in the bar a couple blocks from me. I've become obsessed with trying to get a group of people to go play. Not going so great.

 

theres a killer queen cabinet at a barcade here, they have tournaments every so often. It's a blast if you can get enough people. Stoked to check out the Switch release

It definitely is, haha, that’s why I made the joke. I played a lot of competitive Dark Souls for about a year there and that part was rough.
