Tried several times to get into the God of War series but never could. Is this one any different from the old ones or is it more of a thing where it's just not for me?

 

I'm a little behind on this. I only just now saw that Wildlands had a mission involving Sam Fisher. But I don't play Wildlands so I guess it's not a surprise that I didn't know about it. Got me hyped though.

I've always been more of a Splinter Cell fan than a Metal Gear fan, but the reference is pretty cool. Especially considering it's not the first time those franchises have referenced each other. Also, Ironside's delivery of "then it's only me" was perfect.

 

This one seems way different in a lot of ways and the same in others. It seems to be a more emotional "mature" story, with more modern combat/gameplay and from what I've heard a much less linear path. It sounds like it'll still be very violent, have a lot of boss battles and a large sense of scale. So I guess it depends on what you didn't like. I've seen a lot of people interested who never cared about the old games though.

 

a new esports arena just opened up in town and I was all hyped but it doesn't compare at all to the one I went to in san jose and now I am like bummed.

 

Guy I'm in China with is playing PUBG on mobile yelling into his phone. Gonna be a long trip.

Hopefully we’ll get to see more about III at E3 (ha) this year at Sony’s presentation.

Yeah I would love to see some gameplay! Even if it's just Ryo walking around asking people questions. 3 is still set for later this year, we shall see

Just beat Uncharted 4. Pretty emotional haha.

Man.. that epilogue though. I could've sat and watched for hours.

It was a perfect ending imo, just a sweet and wholesome farewell.

 

Honestly I was half expecting for them to set up an Uncharted game with Nathan's daughter. I think something like that may be coming in the future.

 

Uncharted 4 still in my backlog lol.

 

Get on Lost Legacy next. Might be my favorite one.
