I am playing sunset overdrive tomorrow and I am stoked.

also smite sucks and I am glad I quit.

 

I’m having so much fun with Splatoon 2 now that I’ve got the hang of it. Although I feel like once I get to ranked matches, I’ll get frustrated again...

 

Playing Rime while my son watches is the best. His fascination with the boy "just like him" is awesome and he start parkouring all over the house. It's awesome!

Got a Raspberry Pi for a gift on Christmas '16. Spent far too long figuring out what the fuck I was doing and really started playing this thing around last fall. It is so fucking awesome. I regret not spending more time ironing out the kinks when I got it.

Just got to the final 4 in Pokemon Sapphire. Been so much fun playing through these games that I missed when they were released.

Hoping to build an arcade cabinet soon. Anyone have experience with MAME emu on RetroPie? I've heard it's a bit more involved than the built-in console emulators.

 

Started playing MGS: Peace Walker. Loving it after two hours or so. Gorgeous art style for the cutscenes.

secret of mana? the remake just came out so it's being talked about again. i feel like it's underrated as a SNES game simply because FF6 and chrono trigger are better/more popular.

I remember playing it one time at a friend's house when it originally came out and not enjoying it much. That's not a testament to the game but my attention span as a child. I was not into RPG's until I got to high school age and therefor never revisited these SNES era games.

Thanks for the suggestion. I may give it a shot... I hadn't decided what I want to try and play next. May give one of those irreverent platformers like Boogerman or Earthworm Jim a try.

I just started Bloodborne and as a total souls noob, I could use some tips lol. What stats should I be leveling up? How do I possibly beat the cleric beast lol? I think the answer here is get better, but it’s sooooo hard :(

 

Make sure you get plenty of the items you use to summon, and get the beckoning bell so people can help you out. I would recommend upgrading your stamina, and dexterity early on.

dodge a lot, upgrade stamina and either strength or dex depending on what weapon you have. The best way to get through the game is just to observe how enemies work, learn their patterns and then take your hits when you have a chance. There is usually a pretty steep learning curve with your first Souls game though so really getting into it will probably be the most frustrating part, ha.
