I'll second the Sunset Overdrive recommendation, it's probably $10 now and very fun. I've never played Skyrim or Witcher 3 but they sound right up your alley and are by all accounts two of the best games of the last two console generations. And last, if you like driving games at all, Forza Horizon 2 and 3 are incredible and the former has gotta be cheap at this point.

 

Witcher 3 is top 5 game ever for me

 

Dragon Age Inquisition is a great game and it's regularly on sale for like 10$.

Also, Gears 4 is really good.

Given how long ago the Orange Box came out, and how old Half Life is as a franchise nowadays, I genuinely wonder how much HL3 would resonate with the general gaming public in 2018. Obviously the forums would explode and people in their mid-to-late twenties (and older) would be very stoked, but I wonder what those sales figures would look like considering how far removed we are from Half Life 2.
